Ophiucus68 Posted May 2, 2024 Posted May 2, 2024 FONV Billboards, Advertisements replacer - basic pr0n edition View File Decided to play FONV and thought, hey, this needs the FO4 slooty treatment. DLC material replaced too. So, all have been replaced with pr0n but the ad slogans remain! To install, follow the file structure in the zip to drag and drop in the data folder. Using your mod manager should work too. Enjoy the upgrade! Submitter Ophiucus68 Submitted 05/01/2024 Category Models & Textures Requires Basic game
rangermanlv Posted May 12, 2024 Posted May 12, 2024 Thank you for making this and the other replacer mods. I've played thru F4 about 7 times already and I just wanted some basic porn in the game to make things more interesting. Fuck immersion I was over immersion after about the 4th playthru. LOL. Thanks for making my game a little more fun and interesting this time around. 1

Heads up - I'm revamping the FO4 billboards and posters...slowly, as I'm kinda into FONV right now and then plan to revisit FO3 and do a little mischief there as well....BUT...the revamp will be with the ad slogans and logos back in.
UnknownX3 Posted June 3, 2024 Posted June 3, 2024 which mod manager do you recommend using cause am not sure how to adjust it in the vortex launcher. I'm only seeing changes to the posters ads but not the billboards.

So, follow the file file set up in the zip: Find your Fallout 4 data folder under stea/steam apps/common/fallout4 or something similar Then Data/textures/setdressing/signage Just drag the folders under textures into your dat/texture folder and wham bam, good to go. Vortex will update and register the new files next time it's run. Just confirm the new files if it asks. I do use Vortex but for the larger mods with esp or esm files.

If you follow your advise, not much would happen, as this mod isn't for Fallout 4. I personally use Mod Organizer 2 for all my mods, so I can keep track of them. Vortex I tried and it looked fine, until I got into mod conflicts and then noticed that my hardcore-modding tick was bumping into lack of details on what was conflicting.

But still....follow the zip file path :-) Anyhoo...Vortex never showed mod conflicts for me either. Just file or resource conflicts. I just use the 'well, I installed this last before the problem so it must be this mod...' approach. :-)

Dragging as in cut and paste or copy and paste?

UnknownX3 Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 I did that and now nothing is working. It used to show just the ads but now nothing is showing up.

Open your fallout new vegas/Data/texture folder. Open the mod fonv billboards data/texture/ folder Drag the folder there - architecture, belthan, clutter, dungeons, etc into your fonv data/texture folder You should be golden.
