BlueIPOD Posted April 12, 2024 Posted April 12, 2024 (edited) I'm getting this error whenever I try to run Skyrim after reinstalling SexLab once to try and fix some other issue I was having. I used the AE version since I'm on the latest version, and the DLL is in the proper place. I tried looking this up extensively and none of the solutions given helped me at all.  I'm not new to modding, but I'm no expert at it either. I just try my best to follow instructions given.  I had the wrong version of Sexlab installed. I was sure I had the right one but I must have misclicked. NBolan Posted April 13, 2024 Posted April 13, 2024 I'm having this issue as well, just installed the SL mods today and man has it been a ride just getting them to show up in the first place. Do you have the version for 1.6.640 link? I get this same error message when I use the main 1.66b.7 that's provided, I think that's what it's called at least. Hope to hear from you!

Ashal provides a github for the older versions here, you'll have to read through them to find out which one is the one you need. Edited April 13, 2024 by TheVolcanoGodess
jhgill2003 Posted September 25, 2024 Posted September 25, 2024 Okay... you had the wrong version installed. Which was the right version? I have the same problem with this as everyone else apparently. I did have sex lab running perfectly, then I switched to a new computer. (didn't file copy) I can't remember how I got past this problem before. I keep looking this subject up but everyone talks about it but no one gives a clear answer. I have the latest Skyrim, just downloaded it again yesterday. with all the CC I don't want as well. It's September 2024. Is it my load order? I've downloaded the latest versions of everything. What am I missing?  Hopeless in Spokane.

What am I missing? If you have the correct version of SKSE and Sexlab for your game and still receive that message you don't have Address Library installed, or at least not the correct one. There are 2 files. Only one of them supports 1.6+ game versions. So check that. It's the only reason people have this kind of problem, they mix versions or don't have the correct requirement files installed. 1
jhgill2003 Posted September 27, 2024 Posted September 27, 2024 I know I'm just dumb. (I'm over 70 after all). I downloaded the latest SKSE Nexus directed me to. I downloaded the latest (correct version of Sexlab for my version of Skyrim is 1.6.1170. This worst part of this whole problem is, I had this all working just fine, then I bought a newer, faster computer. I didn't copy and load files like I probably should have and just started from scratch. If I click "no" when it tells me the DLL is not loaded. It runs okay. just not like it is suppose to. If I add M2M, all I get is a t-pose. Help
Just Don't Posted September 27, 2024 Posted September 27, 2024 I don't know how else to say this. You have the wrong version of a requirement for the framework. Clicking no in that message won't solve the issue. Â And T-poses occur when you forget to run FNIS/Nemesis/Pandora or when you do but using incompatible animation files. All 3 programs I mentioned clearly notify you when an incompatible animation is detected.
seigl Posted January 21, 2025 Posted January 21, 2025 If there's anyone still out there on this thread, I have the same issue, and I am very very sure (checked about 69 times) that I have the correct version of everything; my game version is the right one for the SexLab version. my Address Library is the right version, I have the right version of each requirement of each mod, but I still get the sexlabutil.dll disabled/incompatible with game version message. I'm at my wit's end lol. If anyone has any idea how to fix it, or a handy dandy guide, I could really use the help.
yanderekyo Posted February 21, 2025 Posted February 21, 2025 Bump, having same problem when im absolutely certain everything is up to date.
Just Don't Posted February 21, 2025 Posted February 21, 2025 (edited) If everyone who is so sure to have the correct version of everything posted a screenshot of the whole thing we'd be able to solve this kind of posts real fast. It's either a wrong version entirely or you have another mod providing older files (i.e. an older or different SL version than the one you need is still installed and enabled in your mod manager). Or even mention the actual files/versions being used... saying "latest", "up to date", "everything correct" or SE/AE terms isn't a good indicator of anything. Version numbers. All you need to do is make sure the numbers match. I've never seen a case where this kind of thing isn't just pure user error. Edited February 21, 2025 by Just Don't

That github file is from 2023 and latest SL Framework for 1.6.1170 was uploaded in 2024. Confirm you're getting the one for 1.6.1170 (i.e. 1.66b, and there are 2 files with that version, one for GOG, one for Steam, so also make sure you get the correct one).

That is the file i had originally, and it gave me the same warning so thats why i downloaded the github one
Just Don't Posted October 4, 2025 Posted October 4, 2025 (edited) I'm not sure how using an older file will help. You just need to get the correct one from the downloads. Address Library I guess it's that all in one 1.6.x file you can see in Vortex, hope that's enabled. Also this is all assuming your version of the game is 1.6.1170 and not an older version because you downgraded or stopped automatic updates a while ago. And you don't really need Papyrus Util standalone as that's already included in the framework. The fact you're still seeing that warning for the PU files makes me think you either have another older version of the framework in your mod manager overwriting the current one, or you don't have Address Library properly installed/enabled. I figured it out, turns out while i owned anniversary addition the upgrade was for some reason not installedÂ
