belegost Posted March 21, 2025 Author Posted March 21, 2025 "Prove yourself to the Anatomancer". Can someone explain this one? Without much spoilage if possible. I know who the guy is, I know there are missions for him, in the same vein as the ones on the notice board, but what does that mean? For context, I have just completed the vampire quest thingy under Windhelm and have this residence (I think) quest ahead. If this is something that becomes clear later, then say so, but do not reveal anything more, please.
belegost Posted March 26, 2025 Author Posted March 26, 2025 (edited) Holy shit, Act 4 is LOOOOOOONG. 27 IRL hours since I arrived in Coldharbour and I'm still not done yet. This is fucking exhausting. Story and bits of esoteric and obscure lore are interesting, but I can't see ever replaying this mod again. At least not without some sort of Mark/Recall spell to travel between Tamriel and Oblivion. I miss the greenery. I also am getting fed up with constant fighting. This mod is a reminder why I hate souls-likes so much. Edited March 26, 2025 by belegost
belegost Posted March 27, 2025 Author Posted March 27, 2025 I just finished it. Spent 32 hours in Coldharbour alone. I went through all the quests, all the memories, fought, I think, all the bosses. That ending was something else. I still have largely no clue what the hell was going on, but that was some serious storytelling. I don't think I'm going to replay this mod ever again though. Not because it was bad, but because it's one of those once in a lifetime experiences. Knowing stuff in advance would be detrimental. Also, I don't think I could stomach bleak, desolate and depressing Coldharbour once more. 1
