kupa11 Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 I've recently changed my enb preset to Picta Realis but I have this weird black gloss on most of things that my character wears (On ss it is catsuit from devious devices) Is there any way to fix it/disable this gloss? I would be grateful for any help.
Grey Cloud Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 Did you properly remove the previous preset? Is the new preset designed to work with your lighting mod? Did you delete the enbcache folder?

Did you delete the enbcache folder? I've removed enbseries folder as well as enblocal.ini and enbseries.ini Yes, it was recomendend to use mod that I do (Evlas). Enb cache? Where can I find it and remove it?

Delete it (or just move it) and your enb should build a new set of files next time you load it. The game will take a a bit longer to load as the new files are built. If I'm not mistaken there is a message in the top left while the game is loading (at least with the enb I use).

Tried reinstalling whole game and problem still occurs. Ehh... Maybe there is and option to tweak this gloss thing? But couldn't find anything on the web.

(optional) Backup your enb files, especially enblocal.ini and enbseries.ini. Start the game. (optional) Open the console (to capture the mouse and keyboard input). Open the in-game config editor. Go through the features and disable the ones that are enabled until the problem goes away. Once you find the feature that's causing the artifacts you can try to adjust its values to see if you can get rid of the issue. Save your changes. Edit: Its also possible this is caused by a shader that doesn't provide a configuration option for the feature that's causing the issue. Your options then are: Edit the shader code to fix the issue. Try a different display driver or display adapter vendor. Edited April 5, 2024 by traison
