Struggling with Vortex install

I wanna start off by saying I know I should be using FOMM - it just won't work for me, I wish it did. 

My problem seems to be common, I boot up the game and it crashes immediately. I think I've done everything right, so I'm not sure what I'm missing.

You are missing the mod configuration menu, and possibly jip nvse.
