When I play the quests of winterhold, there is a female boss called the caller. She did not appear in the place. Luckyly, it won't break the quest. You can use console to get the key.

Could someone running this mod check if the scene when just entering Potema's Catacombs during The Wolf Queen Awakened plays for them?

The disembodied Potema voice doing a monologue and then the bars sliding down. Absolutely nothing happens when this is loaded in my game.

 

Doesn't matter if I'm only running SkyUI, ASLAL, USSEP and this, or over 1000 mods. I'm using the AE no FG version.

I've used https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/23115 forever, and I kinda forgot about switching to this, so I didn't suspect this one at all, but it sure looks like it's causing major issues with at least one quest.

Think this is a well known bug, don't think it has anything to do with this particular mod

Even if a new game with SkyUI, USSEP, and ASLAL reliably triggers it, but adding this kills it?

I tried swapping to the old Nexus one on my 100ish hour playthrough with 1100 mods, and also there the quest just starts working, Todd-style. That really looks like out of all those plugins, this is the only one misbehaving with MS06.

Yeah the chat bots do point to https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/36577?tab=bugs being known to interfere with that precise trigger, but I've never used that one (another armor mod by the same author though, so that was a fun rabbit hole) and that particular issue seems to have been fixed years ago according to the bugs page.

 

Anyway, the problem with that was that they stashed the armor in one of the PotemasCatacombs cells and deleted some vanilla records, which I figure would have popped up in xEdit. Any edits this mod makes to any of those cells, or the quest itself do not seem to show up in there.
