Haunted Sofa?

One day I noticed a pink glowing sphere under my sofa and no idea what it is or where it came from.

 

Ended up just replacing it with a different sofa.

 

Any ideas on what this might be?

That glow means a teen has set up a booby trap on that object that'll go off when another sim uses it. For the sofa I guess that would be the whoopee cushion which will be triggered when somebody sits on it.

I just bought/installed Generations so that's all new to me.

Haven't played S3 either in like 10 years, lol.
