GloopityGoop Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 The problem I'm having is the game keeps crashing when trying to enter the dungeon, specifically from the upper entrance and not the mine entrance. Got my load order and plugin list below. I'll be happy to answer any questions and try stuff for fixes. loadorder.txt plugins.txt
WolfOfFarron Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 I'd advise opening SSEdit and checking for conflicts in the Dawnguard.esm plugin. Alternatively, get a crashlogger and see what it spits out.
GloopityGoop Posted February 29, 2024 Author Posted February 29, 2024 So, I can't use SSEdit since I'm in LE, not SE/AE. I did, however, get a crash logger. Attaching that file, then I will look through it myself. crash_2024_02_29_11_25_1.log
WolfOfFarron Posted March 1, 2024 Posted March 1, 2024 You can use TES5Edit instead of SSEdit if you are on LE! That's my bad, I should have said xEdit instead. However, I don't think conflict resolving in xEdit is gonna do much because that line "Memory at <unknown>+0x00000000 could not be read." points to a general memory error, not a mod error or conflict. You could check TES5Edit to see what mods are affecting Bloodskal Barrow and disable those to see if the crash goes away but that's a long shot and may break your game even more if there are scripts attached. I'm sorry I can't help any more, I don't know all that much about memory errors like this.

That's all right, at least you pushed me to get a crashlogger. Thanks anyway! 4 hours ago, Dorabella said: Have you tried , with the console ? Tried what, exactly?

Skipping the CTD point by logging into the console. https://elderscrolls.fandom.com/wiki/Console_Commands_(Skyrim)/Locations From the list, find the code for the relevant area. in game, console/coc/area code/enter . you should find yourself in the next area, skipping the CTD It may not work , but, try it, it costs nothing
