Sorry, I was thinking of making some modifications of my own, but I don't know where to start. I play the Steam version—does anyone have a tutorial or a PDF document that explains how to make a mod? I'd like to focus on gender-bender versions of male characters or even just chubby male characters, since I see that only Marik was saved—male characters seem to be neglected.

You'll need the file where the sprite/Texture2D is located. If you don't know where it is, you'll need an extractor (which takes alot of RAM to use) to find the specific file. Then, after making a copy of the file you found, extract the image inside the file (different software). After that, you can edit it with any image editing software (be sure to retain the image dimensions). Save the new file and now you have a mod.

From the asset leaks, it is most likely that we will get ALT Styles instead of a new world in September event. There's not much evidence to this claim though

Off-topic perhaps, but is there any interest in mods for old Yu-Gi-Oh games? I tried porting Rochestedorm's Alexis mod into Tag Force 1, and to my great surprise, it actually worked. Here it is if anyone wants it. It's pretty rough, it's just her cutscene bust, with no facial animation, and it's not scaled/positioned properly to match the other character graphics in the game, but if you just want to see Alexis's tiddies whenever she talks, this mod will certainly accomplish that. I didn't spend much time on this, it was just a quick and dirty test to see if it was even possible at all. I might try and make a better version when I have more time/if anyone cares. And maybe this will inspire other people to make their own mods for these old games.

 

To use this mod, first install this graphical upscale mod, then put the files from the .zip below on top of it, merging folders and replacing files when asked.

By eventually I mean generally it would happen later. I don't have the sprite files for the game and I play it on my phone so I am not sure. But you said it was possible so someone might do it

yeah. It should be doable as most of the female sprites there have boob pockets

I don't know what you mean by "boob pockets", but I tried porting Rochestedorm's Aki mod for Duel Links.

Rough as hell, but I didn't have a lot of time to work on this. This was, again, just a test to see if it was possible, and I also wanted to try and see if I could preserve the vanilla game's facial animation. The square around her face is probably because of me having to screw around with the image resolution a bunch in Photoshop to get the vanilla game's head to line up with Rochedorm's body, whilst not editing the facial expression images at all. I also had to learn how to manually extract textures from PSP games, because there are no mods for Tag Force 6 that edit the character graphics, only the cards and UI (at least as far as I could find), so I couldn't just slap my edited image on top of an existing mod like I did with Alexis. I'll try to make a better version, again, when I have more free time/if anyone cares. I'll go ahead and share the mod here in case anybody who doesn't mind the flaws wants to play with this version in the meantime. Or if you want to improve it yourself, by all means, go ahead.

Tag Force 6 - Boobs Out Aki v0.01.zip

 

 

If anybody wants to try and help with the production of Tag Force mods, here's something you can do: go into the settings for PPSSPP, and go to Tools, and then Developer Tools, and check "Save new textures" and "Replace textures". Then, start the game, open the PPSSPP menu with the Esc key, and go to Developer Tools again. Click "Create/open textures.ini file for current game". Then close the PPSSPP menu and just start playing the game normally. As you play, the game's textures will now be dumped to memstick/PSP/TEXTURES/(game id)/new. Any texture, sprite, etc you see while playing will be saved there as a png file. You can save modders the trouble of having to play through the whole game to get the textures before they can start modding by collecting the textures for them and uploading them here. The dumped textures won't be organized in any way though, so you'll have to dig through the "new" folder to find the relevant ones. It's also important that you "Create/open textures.ini file for current game", otherwise the dumped textures won't have the correct filename. Character cutscene busts, character eye and mouth graphics for facial expressions, character UI mugshots, character map sprites, and special event pictures would all be good things to have for modding. Each Tag Force game seems to have different filenames for the same graphics, so each game will need to have its textures dumped seperately.

 

Also, a question to everybody who is interested in Tag Force mods: As you can see, Aki's breasts are mostly covered up by the text box. I'll see if I can make text boxes transparent when/if I get around to modding these games more, but if that winds up not being possible or if it makes text unreadable, what would you prefer? Sacrificing facial expressions so that you can see more of the character's body like Alexis, or keeping facial expressions at the cost of boobs probably being covered up most of the time?

There is a chara050file. What I meant is the standard pose did not change when the mod is installed
