strap on mods not working?

I'm a newbie to WW and I've been trying to get strap ons to work for my lesbian sims but I still cant use them for actual animations? It just comes up with the "oh, that's interesting" pop up and tells me that the available sims gender is not appropriate for the action/animation. I'm guessing there's something I need to configure/download to get it to work but idk what that is. I have the Azmodan22 strap on packs installed just for reference. :)

Gender recognition strikes again.

Strap-ons allow female Sims to be in the male role of an animation, but WW by default does not (hence the notification popping up). There are two ways to deal with this:

(1) Allow all female Sims to be in male roles as well through the WW settings (i.e. the quick and easy way). To do this, click anywhere, select Wicked > Settings > Sex > Interactions > Gender recognition (actual list entries are a bit longer, but I'm lazy and playing with a translation package anyway) and check the option that says something about setting the male role as available to both genders.

(2) Allow strap-on use only for select Sims (useful e.g. if you want to have a clear dynamic to your lesbian Sims' relationship or if you find too many of your female Sims using strap-ons). To do this, click on a Sim you want to use a strap-on, select Wicked > Personalization > Roles > Gender... (again, some of these have longer labels, but you'll know which is which) and allow your Sim to be in all possible roles (or perhaps even restrict roles to male only).

Option (2) will override option (1), so you can also use both together, e.g. if you want all female Sims to be able to use strap-ons and then restrict some of them to either male or female roles only. The strap-ons you have include a "default" one that should be equipped automatically by your Sims as needed. If that doesn't work or if you want to mix things up a little, click on a Sim, select Wicked > Personalization > Anatomy & Clothing > Strap-on, which will bring up a selection of all available, WW-compatible strap-ons you have installed (the whole set from Azmodan22 in your case). Simply pick the one you want and enjoy seeing some more color around your Sims' bedroom (or other places).

I tried both of these with no success unfortunately. I do have the default strap ons installed, but I'm just not sure why it won't work. I'm not getting th pop-up, at least, but it's kinda silly for my top to be strapless.
