Thread Restoration Request

A recent thread was recently removed. I understand the OP's desire to become scarce, but the thread contained insight, links, tips, tricks and other valuable information that was not created by the thread's starter. Is it possible to restore the thread and simply hide or blank posts from the thread's creator?

Calling someone out on their obvious bullshit, isn't starting drama for essentially no reason.

This is the only post i will make regarding the situation as the lead dev on POD. You guys are lacking a lot of information. Kamie is trying their best to make us out to be the bad guys and that "100% of the content was made by guts who is staying with her right now", Guts has been mia for about a week now and we assume it's mostly due to the incessant drama Kamie loves to bring up. This all came to a boiling point after about 2+ weeks of everyone on the team begging her to stop complaining about palhub and Orlin (a problematic fixation she has) and to stop trying to insert her personal fetishes, as well as the whole monetization problem (she seems super into starting a patreon wanting to take a 25% cut again despite contributing nothing) We tried our best to be courteous and asked her to allow us to have ownership of the mod page while she managed the discord server she loves so much (she contributed nothing but whining and "community managment") She of coarse threw a fit and essentially said she wanted none of it. She even told us there was no bad blood and she understood our stance. of coarse if youre in the discord you'd see she's saying otherwise.

TL;DR: Kamie is a fart sniffer desperately trying to play the victim in every scenario, She didnt make any of the models, and all of the ones. Guts did make who is mia right now were textured by other team members who have left to work in silence.

there goes that being my only message. the fuck? who said that? we all joined very serious about making a lewd palworld mod. We all stood on after several changes due to "kamies vision" fetishes and ego. I feel like Kammie had gotten a lot of attention and became overwhelmed. She probably realized she had no control over the project she started and acted out. In a last-ditch effort, they claimed to continue the project even while rebranding the server to fit their desires. Super controlling and manipulative. Total victim player. Unless the devs who left pick up the project it likely it will be abandoned when people start leaving her control.

I feel like we need some more context or less bias. Are you planning on doing anything with palworld in the future? And are the developers that left planning on doing anything together?

The Project Stargaze crew will keep working but the mod progress will be slower now with less creators. I have no idea what the people who left are going to be doing.

Growing pains with starting up a modding community for a hot new game. Look on the bright side - if this drama happened much later after things were more deeply developed, it'd be worse. Got that outa the way fast

Kamie had deleted the original messages sent by the developers who left and played the victim card. Deccu had sent in his messages"I am seeking on behalf and with consent of the majority of the team"      "We each have also been drained by the constant drama and arguments"     "We are requesting you, Kamie, to step down and remove your involvement from the project's development" Even stating "That said, as we all have no interest in the PoD community discord" and even finishing with "We are asking not as people who want to tear this all down, but as people concerned for you and each other" Whilst the reply from Deccu on behalf of "Majority" of the team was sincere it was taken down as to not see their side of the story. Shortly after Kamie had started off attempting to gain sympathy Kamie's messages consisted of "I was given a massive message from Deccu, our original rig expert, and it stated everyone wanted me to quit and forfeit my accounts, both to Lover's Lab and Nexus Mods. " Even with reasonable requests from the developers it was met with the reply 

"These are personal accounts, and I felt it was wrong to lease these accounts to a mod team, and just be a community manager. I founded POD because I wanted to make a community, and it seems over time, our goals skewed, and a conflict was started." Using wording choices such as "The drama that happened today is devastating, but I chose to keep grasp of my accounts" In an attempt to blame the developers for "Robbing her" Whilst the prior messages from the dev team had worded it as concern for her wellbeing and being fed up with constant drama. The devs were criminalized for wanting to continue the mod with their created work.

I can tell you didn't even read the post...... ^^^ 8 lines in there are Kamie's comments and messages taken directly from #announcements on the discord........ Aswell as showing her word choice.........

Mostly new to LL as a whole (used a very few mods before, never posted). I have no intention on spreading/joining drama, and don't wanna break any communy guidelines. I'm only curious if this is (as I assume it is, from the context) related to the Pals of Desire mod. The reason why  is the POD (which I also assume is Pals of Desire mentioned above as "POD") mod is missing and all related links to any mods/discussions is gone, and I thought it was only me with no access? Again, totally new here.

If it IS gone, does that mean the mod is officially dead? Or does anyone know if it will ever come back in any iteration?

The discord is still up but rebranded as Project Stargaze, they are building a new team and continuing the mod minus feral content for the time being until they get new developers for that. The typical Anthro content seems to be continuing. I reccomend join the discord if you want updates about Project Stargaze.

Here's the issue in a nutshell: There are people who create shit and own the right to distribute their creations, then there are everybody else. Whether somebody posit themselves as a manager or group leader doesn't automatically grant them rights. If the group imploded, that is simply because of whatever nonsense happened internally. None of the artists involved actually need an name umbrella to slap tits and cocks on whatever model they want. So if there are tensions and artists don't want to deal with it, then they are free to leave.

 

I don't see why you feel the need to go full white knight. They won't reward you with sex, you know?

It's not dead. It is currently undergoing some rebranding. It will be back up on the Nexus and on their discord in the future but right now the progress on the mod may be slowed for the immediate future. Repeat, NOT dead, just going through a bumpy stretch.

I got a screencap of the whole thing. Idk what's going on and their general chat were just people beating around the bush and the only thing I got out of it was some talk about WarfareMachine turning against them or something.

Most of the screenshots posted by one of the devs in an earlier discussion have already been deleted from the discord so it's truly a one-sided argument at the moment. Hey I'm jumping in this for the heck of it. B)

I'm the texture artist for the Katress, Dazzi, Lunaris, Beegarde, Elizabee, and both the 3d-modeller/texture artist for Syblex, Incineram for the original mod. (I'm also the mastermind behind the Feral Mod. Really sorry that thread was deleted, I didn't author it. I'll reupload my shit soonTM.)

Anyways, the reupload y'all can see on the Nexus and whatever is being hosted on their discord is still 100% using assets I at the very least have not given permission for them to make continued use of!
