game keeps crashing new to modding downloaded fnis skse etc all fine but game crashes

Idk why my game crashes i run fnis and it says reading skylabs all previous mods worked fine it crashes at the loading page perhaps it could be because its not the official steam one ?

There are several common causes of crashing at the loading screen. The most common type is to have mods for one type of Skyrim (say LE) while running the other type (that would be SE/AE). So check your mods and make sure that they are compatible.

 

Another cause can be too many animations. This is normally flagged by FNIS for you but since you mentioned it happened after adding SexLab (and its animations) I have to mention that as well.

 

You may want to post your load order (preferably in a spoiler) and your FNIS output )also in a spoiler).

Be sure to correctly install Crash fixes, Unoffical skyrim legendary edition patch and Load game CTD fix These are essential if you r going to mod your game. Also you better be trying to mod the latest version of the game and have all 3 DLCs. İf you don't have, majority of the mods including sexlab and the mods I just gave the links of will not work at all.

You also need SKSE too ofc. A dependency for most mods including sexlab. And it will only work in the latest version of the game
