Any mod that allows editing post-shower towel outfit?

I have mods to force my Sims to equip a towel after each shower, and I'd like to make it so that one of my sims equips a "topless" towel instead of the regular one, but none of the mods I've tried have seemed to work. It seems it's because it's a situation outfit? Idk. I tried MCCC, and Fashion Authority, and neither seem to do what I want. MCCC Copy/Paste commands don't save the outfit, and Fashion Authority doesn't seem to allow the towel outfit as one of the editable situation outfits.

Not sure how good this tine mod works, it blocks the outfit generation if there is already an outfit. Copying and pasting outfits should still work and missing outfits should also be generated.

If you don't want to install the ts4script file for random reasons (malware) extract the three files from mod_sources and save them to `The Sims 4/Mods/_o19_/Scripts/block_generate_outfits/` - you can review the files to confirm that there is no url-open, p-open or subprocess in this mod and still use it.

Like most of my mods it requires S4CL https://github.com/ColonolNutty/Sims4CommunityLibrary/releases/latest and my tiny helper library https://github.com/Oops19/TS4-Library/releases/latest These are also both open source and can also run from a 'Scripts' directory anyhow there will be a huge performance impact. I highly recommend to use the compiled version / ts4script.

The ZIP includes a README which you might never need, it might be useful to learn about the cheat commands.

PS: I updated my Privacy Protector which should keep users safe from a lot of malware for TS4.

Didn't work for my purposes, at least not yet. I'll have to play around with this later. But TY for the suggestion, and the mods!

Hard to tell what's going on. The log (The Sims 4/mod_logs/Block-Generate-Outfits_Messages.txt) should contain:

DEBUG: [bgo_main]: Thank you for using Block Generate Outfits
DEBUG: [bgo_main]: Affected outfits: {(<OutfitCategory.SPECIAL = 8>, 1), (<OutfitCategory.BATHING = 5>, 0)}
DEBUG: [bgo_main]: Skipping outfit '(<OutfitCategory.SPECIAL = 8>, <SpecialOutfitIndex.TOWEL = 1>)' generation for 'sim-name'

While it could make sense to verify that the sim is actually using the towel outfit and whether or not the sim has the proper towel outfit. If a 3rd party mod modifies it this mod can't help.

I did a quick woohoo in shower test after loading the game.

https://github.com/Oops19/TS4-CopyOutfits has a Copy... > X-Picker interaction to show the available 'special' outfits. This should at least allow you to verify which outfit the sim is wearing. With 'Copy' you can 'save to clipboard' and then 'Paste...> X-Picker to replace the Special.1 outfit.

So using copy outfits, I got it working somewhat. I can copy the outfits into the Special. 1 Towel slot, but it's only using the default swatches. I'm more than happy to get closer to what I want, but anyway to use the other swatches?

The first/yellow one is the one I'm trying to copy over, and the second/white one is the one I'm getting. It did copy over the proper swatch for the nipple piercings, so maybe it's just an issue with this towel itself?

Each swatch has a unique ID. So if you copy the yellow one to e.g. Everyday.0 it will stay yellow and if you copy the white one to Everyday.1 it will stay white.

The same should apply to the Special.1 outfit, whatever you copy there should stay there.

I forgot to save and now I can't get it to work again with copy outfits at all. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, maybe I messed up the settings of Block Generate Outfits too, somehow?

Edit: I'm only able to copy and then paste the clothes now, accessories no longer show up on the pasted outfit. In addition, the pasted outfit is no longer saving when I make my sim take another shower.

Edit2: I'm following along with the "Copy" then "Paste... X-Picker" advice, and each time I paste the yellow towel into Special.1 (the middle one I think?) it works for the moment, but once I command my sim to take another shower it resets to the white full outfit towel instead of the topless towel.

Can you share your towel package here? I'd try it with my sims if they ever use the towel after showering.

I believe that my towel settings come from WickedWhims, but I only think that because I cannot figure out for the life of me where else it's coming from. I don't have Zero's towel mod installed, or Shimrod's, or Scanner's, or even LittleMsSam's Quick Shower & Bath mod installed. The only thing my searches are pointing towards is it's coming from Wicked Whims.
