Can you teach me how to read the crash error log? For example ,how can i kwon that the crash was caused by certain code line mentioned in the log or the crash was caused by a lot of code lines summing up?Every time the log file gave so many code lines, but it seems that not every code line is worth excluding.

Hi, I'm pretty much just guessing based on what logs I've seen before, that were given for other issues. Also I run into issues when creating the patches, so sometimes I run into issues and can see the same issue in the logs.

 

Here the main issue I can see is this:

[01:11:10][E][portrait_entity_data.cpp:149]: Could not find texture [gfx/models/portraits/attachments/male_clothes/japanese/male_kimono_samurai_01/male_clothes_kimono_samurai_01_masks.dds]. file: gfx/models/portraits/attachments/male_clothes/japanese/male_kimono_samurai_01/male_clothes_kimono_samurai_01.asset line: 53
[01:11:10][E][pdx_entity.cpp:586]: Could not find blend shape "male_clothes_kimono_samurai_01_bs_butt_max" for attribute "bs_body_butt_size_max" in entity "male_clothes_kimono_samurai_01_common_entity"
[01:11:10][E][pdx_entity.cpp:586]: Could not find blend shape "male_clothes_kimono_samurai_01_bs_butt_min" for attribute "bs_body_butt_size_min" in entity "male_clothes_kimono_samurai_01_common_entity"

 

Maybe you still have the old MB+ patch in your load order (or the ROA patch)? Can you share your load order?

In the current MB+ patch, I didnt do the blendshapes, so these logs should not be here, unless you have some old files still.

 

Also when installing the mods, make sure to remove the old mod before installing, the MB+ patch might have the same name as the patch for previous version, and if you overwrite the mod without removing it first, you can end up with old files that cause issues.

Hey,
Are others having some problem in new patch with creating rulers?
Game crashes every time I choose "Create New Ruler" in new game. Creator works if I disable all three EPE CBO mods.
Was the load order?;

EPE

Carnalitas

CBO UnOf Base

CBO UnOf Animation

CBO UnOf Mesh

EPE CBO Base

EPE CBO Animation

EPE CBO Mesh

Seems like 7z is causing issues for some AVs, added zip files to the description as well (so same content just in zip format).

My game crashes whenever I try and create a new ruler. The game works whenever I turn off all EPE mods though
The only mods I'm using are:

A Spouse Designer
Better AI Education + Infinite Wards
EPE
Carnalitis
CBO Base
CBO Animation
CBO Mesh
EPE Base
EPE Animation
EPE Mesh
Better Barbershop
Better Barbershop CBO Extension
Reguli Magistri 

Also thanks for the patch for EPE.

Hi, did you use EPE Base version 4.0.1? That fixed a crash related to ruler creator.

Hi, dont think CBO should prevent changing height. Are you also using PA? (physical attributes)

For body type, do you mean the stuff like pearl and so on? I think CBO removed the body shapes, maybe because they were changing the height of the character. You can instead set fat distribution, and change muscularity for lower and upper body separately.

Just to clear things up, you have both this and the CFP-CBO patch as different downloads, but the CFP-CBO patch has a download for CFP+EPE-CBO as well.  Is that the download I currently would need for a game with CFP and EPE, or is this download more up to date?

Hi, patches that are CFP+something will be on the CFP mod page, so if you want CFP+EPE comp patch, grab it from CFP mod page.

If you use the Patch version, that already has everything in it, but if you use the Base+Animation+Mesh version, then you will need also use the Animation and Mesh from this page. (the exact load order is on the CFP page)

EPE came out with a new update a couple days ago. Since then I'm getting a few bugs like some characters will be naked when at war instead of wearing armor. I'm thinking this may need an update (or maybe CBO in general, but I assume just the EPE portion). Thanks in advance!

Could you make an EPE + Statues patch? I downloaded the CFP + EPE + Statues patch from your other thread, but statues don't work when you don't have CFP installed.
