I ran into the same issue with the skeleton. You just need the skeleton file present in the import folder when you import into blender. The skeleton file is unnecessary is the final mod file as far as I can tell. I pretty much used Zai's mod files and just replaced the .minfo and .mmesh with my edited ones. I'm by no means an experienced modder or modeler. I can do certain edits and generation if I have something to start with. Creating something from scratch is something I don't have the skill-set or time to learn unfortunately. 1
