Jaxon Hellsing Posted January 31, 2024 Posted January 31, 2024 Hello! I've had this issue every now and then but some reason Whenever I go near ivarstead I crash to my desktop, this can also sometimes happen at bleak falls barrow and can prevent progress with both infiltrating the thalmor embassy and going to high hrothgar. I never understand what causes this though as my crash logs always just say each part of an ice wraith. I also can never see the ice wraith when this happens. I have attached my crash log if anyone can help me solve the issue. Thanks! crash-2024-01-31-21-27-13.log
venomr Posted January 31, 2024 Posted January 31, 2024 Could you use the console to spawn an ice wraith next to you to see if it causes crashing? Â Spawn each type of ice wraith until it crashes if you can.

Jaxon Hellsing Posted January 31, 2024 Author Posted January 31, 2024 I think it's anything to do with ice wraiths

(ty walking up high hrothgar backwards while looking at the ground so you don't see the ice wraiths when they spawn.)  If it only crashes when you look at them, maybe its a bad mesh or texture.

I'll try walking backwards but I think it's when it's in the vicinity  Edit: walked backwards, didn't change anything Edited January 31, 2024 by Jaxon Hellsing
MadMansGun Posted February 1, 2024 Posted February 1, 2024 3 things could do it: 1 the skeleton (nif or hkx) being used for them is bad (find and replace or remove) 2 there body mesh has been replaced with a bugged one (find and remove) 3 extremely bad behavior files (hit the de-install creature button in fnis and then rerun fins) Â all meshes and skeletons files are found here: Data\Meshes\actors\icewraith\character assets\

I even said De-Install creature framework and that I don't think did anything. I'll try again with the creature framework. Also I'm mainly using a new engine that supports both Nemesis and Fnis called Pandora.

It's not doing it some reason. It still says De-Install creatures even after clicking the button and it saying creatures uninstalled
