Can NPCs reduce arousal on their own? So many are injured or otherwise affected with high arousal levels.

Changed it to 1 year but the game hasn't noticed that.

My char gains arousal faster than I can reduce it. Especially with mostly bad intercourse events. That causes a lot of stress.

I think in my playthrough, it had no effect on daughters that had already been born.  Only on those born after I installed the mod.  Don't know if that's relevant to your situation.

opinion matters( for triggering event, their opinion of urs character), also location, both has to be at the same location on that day. means not at activity, nor leading any army etc etc. even then its only about 30-40% , lustful father will get more chance(with above conditions about 60-70%) rather than lustful daughter. lustful daughter will more likely accept those advances (only for ai now). virginity should be enabled for this to happened. only virgin daughter gets the events.

the latest version i uploaded have trigger event to tackle it, give it one generation gameplay, u should notice the difference if playing the same save or if its new one, u will notice it from beginning. trying to fine tune it more but it will take some time and some input from community afterall everyone got their playstyle , i might not get problem in mine but other might. so can't correct it without proper input, coding events from point of view of ai is pain in the ass. so many things can get wrong.

it should, try deleting shadercache folder in parent folder of mod folder before loading the game, it might help. also if u have already in cooldown period it will not decrease from 3 to 1. its for next time u have activity. cooldown will be 1 instead of 3

bad intercourse does not cause stress, its just less arousal relief.min being 40. even with a lustful character with max random libido it should take about 6-7 months for arousal to get one lvl. with avg being 13-14 months.  avg character should be able to maintain arousal under control with just make love. while lustful can only depends on other event early on,(example being asking for sex for the hook, it has no cooldown, no location requirement, though it does not show in important action, its still there, or in my case i generally play with primae noctis so i can marry a random coutiur any time) .in later yrs they should be able to make do with make love only bcoz of high sex exp. still i am gonna nerf libido value a bit more in next version.

 

also having more consort+lovers reduce arousal gain also. having 4+ (consort or lovers) gives no new arousal. though they have to be at same location and not ill etc etc, basically fullfill requirement for make love.

I have 3 consorts and 6 lovers and sexslaves and still gain arousal. My char and many other people are lustful.

Perhaps a new playthrough is needed.

You mean in the game rules? They had the virgin trait, 100 oppinion and were in my capital like me.

again no idea why its not firing, if u wanna debug, goto events->coming_of_age_events.txt and set chance = 100 instead of chance = 5 or chance = 10 , that will make it to fire everytime in wd_coming_of_age_event.001. thr are four cases mother/son ,guardian/son, father/daughter gaurdian/daughter. set chance to 100 in all four.

too much hassle. it would be every hard to balance the game. just implementing arousal for ai is making me chance so much values on daily bases ,don't wanna think what orgy would do. if u are interested i can make it for ai, but balancing it for gameplay, that i would not do. u have to do that.

u probably did, apart from custom list, lovers list & rival list are default selected. u have to uncheck them in left side menu in guest selection menu

Too bad. Could it be possible to add the arousal reduction to hock demand sex and other modded intercourse events?

its already is. anything that uses wd_had_sex_with_effect trigger arousal reduction, so even successful seduce scheme also reduce arousal

Hello, first of all I would like to thank you for this mod. It is already very good and has a lot of potential. But one thing still bothers me - that is AI arousal. I think it still doesn't work as it should - in my game there are quite a lot of AI characters with high arousal level. Is it possible to limit arousal only to your own character while keeping other features of the mod? As an option or rule perhaps?

i am still trying to balance out ai arousal lvl, its work in progress. as urs other question, if u want arousal only for player carnal arousal framework does exactly that, i only added arousal in my mod bcoz that mod does not provide arousal for ai. btw in u r playing with latest version with fresh game or with older save or older version? and how many ai are in what arousal lvl in general?

I have started a new game with the latest version of the mod. The whole situation with AI arusal has improved, that's true. I can't say how many AI characters are affected at the moment, but it seems to me that the main problem is with characters that are not too old and not married. Especially with sons of people who own land, it often happens that AI is waiting for a suitable spouse for them or the spouse is not yet an adult. My character looks for a lover in such situations, AI can't (yet) deal with this very well.   

If the concept of AI arousal is not necessary anywhere else in this mod, I would rather get rid of it.
