no script mode

I just downed load version 1 jan 2024. it end up has no script mode. The sims can be seen naked but no action.
when the display popped the script mode was blank but the upper mode is shown.
What is going on??

Do you have both the options for "custom content and mods" and "script mods" enabled in your game settings? Only with both boxes ticked will mods like WW work fully. Nudity is in the tuning part of the mod (i.e. the .package file), all the action is part of the scripting (in the .ts4script file).

 

Also, make sure that you don't have mods with .ts4script files more than one subfolder deep within your Mods folder (the game won't read them if you bury them deeper). As an example, "Mods/WickedWhims" will work as a directory for your WW mod files, but "Mods/Sex/WickedWhims" will not.

Furthermore, WW used to dislike it when the mod files were in the same place as the animation packages, so keep those core files seperate from the additional stuff.

 

Another thing that rarely happens with script mods is that some antivirus software throws a false positive and quarantines or deletes files. Check your Mods folder to see if both files for WW are actually present. If one is missing, consider whitelisting your Mods folder in your AV settings (and maybe the game install folder as well).
