Animations not starting and "Form 43 error" ?

Hi,
I just want to preface this by saying I am a complete novice but I am trying my best.

I am trying to use sexlab mods for the first time but regardless of what I try, the animations just never start. Previously I have only used simple mods like alternate start and simply bigger trees and I feel like I'm completely in over my head here 😅
I downloaded matchmaker to test things easily but when I cast the spell on myself and others, nothing happens. The spell itself casts, it just has no impact on the game.

Does anyone have a clue as to what I've done wrong?
I have attached my debug log (the only part that could not fit in the screenshot was papyrus which I edited to look like it should according to the troubleshooting guide)

I followed this guide for FNIS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlMMgEeYCGQ
And this guide for SKSE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZuqfOw89vm0

The only error I can find myself is a notification called "Form 43". It gives an explanation for what this means, but I don't understand the explanation 😅

Forgive me for my humble stupidity, I can only learn so much at once and have spent multiple hours almost every day for a week trying to figure this out 💀

Thank you for reading🙏

But the Form 43 in a plugin is the least of your problems if you're indeed using the "wrong edition of the mod". The game can load and should work perfectly fine in most cases with that plugin, but if the mod also comes with other file types (textures, meshes, DLL, BSA, and so on) your game will likely crash on launch, crash when it attempts to load the asset in game or the mod won't work as intended. If you really are using the wrong version of a mod you should remove it and search for an already ported version (for that you can use posts like the blue links in my signature listing ported and compatible SL mods).

That form 43 is not a good indicator of how well a mod will work, especially if you're not familiar with modding yourself. And you can disable it (mo2 settings, plugins and in the list find and disable the form 43 checker). Which is easier, faster and safer than resaving every form 43 plugin you get. You will do much better if you get your mods from the proper source (a relatively recent or up to date version, already ported or verified to be compatible, etc.).

And as for the animations, hard to tell without knowing what your FNIS log says. If there's a problem with a mod or a bad install it's usually easy to spot when reading it. But without it we can only guess you made a mistake somewhere in the install process and you'll have to do it again but without the mistake in there.

Thank you for your thought out reply ^^
I got all my mods from either Loverslab or nexus (except for skse)
The mod that's getting the Form 43 error is the framework itself which I got here:

I'm using the latest file. Am I wrong to download from Loverslab? Is it more of a forum/database and I should be downloading from another site? 🤔
I'm going to uninstall and redownload everything again 😅

Small update:
The animations work via the ZaZ Animation Test System

Thanks again for your time ^^

No, that is the version of the framework for SE. And it will work as long as you meet the stated requirements (game/SKSE versions and other mods listed as requirements).

That's what I meant when I said that form 43 check isn't a good indicator. If you check the description, name, forum section, versions mentioned and so on everything points to it being for SE, because it is. The plugin having a form 43 doesn't prevent it from working as intended and you can confirm that's the case because it has been out for years and downloaded thousands of times. That check simply isn't useful for end users.

Thank you for explaining that! I'm learning so much ^^

You're welcome. Since you're staring and already using MO2, you can follow along the guide I wrote about it (it's the orange link in my signature). It should help you set the basic framework and some optional features, as well as explain a few things about installing mods. After that you should be good to go with any mod you want to add on top.
