Does anyone have have the latest PalsOfDesire mod? Was unable to download it before it got taken down

Those were stolen, but if your refering to before the drama bomb that caused it to fall in the first place there is no futher updates, the PoD/Stargazer mod was canceled and the project lead/founder quit, however, the OG modders from the group are continuing the project in there own group under there own project names.

Well I'm not sure if downloading the last known iteration of PoD counts as stealing... Unless you're referring to the folks who stole assets and reuploaded them.

I was not aware the mod on Nexus was a stolen asset. forget I asked then. I was also not aware of all the internal drama.

I have that, not sure if it's the latest version but I downloaded it last week-end, so it probably is

POD and its united team doesn't exist anymore. The only thing you'll find now are the individuals that used to be POD. Which you'll have to look for.

That's what the "One of a Kind" framework mod can do. Apparently. But it looks a bit daunting so I don't know how many people have actually used it yet. Kind of hoping we get someone that just takes our hand and baby-steps us through it.

O.K framework comes in at basicly the last step. IF you have everything in unreal, and can successfully create a .pak that works, then it is extremely trivial to set up. The only catch is custom skeletons don't seem to work (ex if you modify the skeleton for dick bones or tiddy jiggle). If ANYONE can find a way around this DM me lol.

Basicly you move the assets into a renamed sub-folder (instead of .../palname, to .../paname/pal_with_penis or whatever) and then copy in the template files for O.K. and tell it the conditions to use for that model (it even creates a drop-down to select in case you have multiple subfolders for different versions of that pal). I'd be happy to help people get their files set up in unreal

That's actually a different Elizabee skin, the PoD one has lower "thighighs" and the center of the nipple is colored yellow.

I've tried both, and honestly prefer the standalone one, but the PoD one is baked into the PoD pak file, so I can't swap out just that one without losing some others from PoD that I'd prefer to keep, as they don't have any alternatives or improvements presently.

If you have the all-in-one mod, you can extract the individual pals pretty easily.

• use unrealpak to extract the .pak
• delete whichever folders of pals you don't want to keep from the Monster and Skeleton folders
• create new folders so you have the following folder structure: Pal\Content\Pal\Model\Character\(monster and skeleton folders)
• repak that Pal folder with compression using unrealpak and you now have a standalone version
• name it whatever you want but add the suffix _P and put it in your ~mods folder

Okay, I downloaded UnrealPakTool, but I don't know how it works, I tried opening the pak file through it but it does nothing as far as I can tell.

 

Edit: Should note that I am not a modder, and barely computer literate in general.
