Happy New Year, ; here, come traveler.......... Khajiit has new wares 😮

 

I spent alot of time hunting for pictures over months and, with the great help of Km4387 here on LL, we put together a main menu and loading screens replacer !

 

There are 335 pictures total - the vast majority of them being painting and drawings, a few being 3d art/rendering

They are all fitting a fantasy setup, I tried to keep that immersive as much as I could so expect elves, mages, creatures, monsters, bandits and all that sort of stuff

!

 

It's very much NSFW and explicit most of the time - there is bestiality, horror, uncon stuff and so on ; what you won't find is futa stuff/gore/underage and as always I tend to try to keep away from hentai 'simplistic' style of art - I mean, if you use some of my other texture replacers, you know what to expect hopefully  

 

 

All pictures are designed for 1080p - shouldn't be any issue with any other resolution, but ⚠️some UI mods may interfere, resulting in pictures zoomed in or out ; Km4387 did a fix which I'm gonna post if some people run into a similar issue ( you still need my main file, and overwrite it with the fix)

 

The ESP is flagged as ESL

- Added a patch made by Km4387 for Legacy of the Dragonborn SSE at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community (nexusmods.com) ; to replace their loadscreens with mines ; aswell as the alternate fix version of the patch (same as my main upload, use the Alt Fix only if you have issues with loadscreens being zoomed in/out )

 Note that you still need my main mod, as it's a patch

The loading screen flavor text takes a second to show for me, do you have an idea of what may cause that? Is there a way to merge loading screen mods in case I want to add more images to the repository?

Ahh I'd have to summon the technician ( @km4387 ) in order to answer your question but I'm pretty sure there is no way to merge loadscreen mods - again, Km4387 can answer your question way more accurately than me, I'm super clueless regardiing your other issue with the text but you should have an answer soon

You can use other loadscreen mods that add new screens, but this one replaces the vanilla load screens.  So if another mod replaces them, they will conflict.  As for merging there really is no need since this is in ESL format and isn't taking a load order slot.

 

The other part about the text - I've noticed similar on my own game.  I believe it's vanilla behavior where on a longer load, after a few seconds, it'll grab text from another screen and display it without changing the image.  I've removed the text from all the screens in this mod, but that doesn't keep it from grabbing text from another mod that adds loadscreens.

 

As to what can be done about it - I'll be making a few patches to display PyGee333's screens in other mods (like today's LOTD patch), so that will fix some of it.  Another option, if you use SSE Display Tweaks, is to blacklist those ESPs in it's INI file.  A 3rd option for the more industrious is to remove those loadscreens with xEdit.  And lastly you could just live with it cause it's really not a big deal.

There's no plans for that.  I can't test it to make it look right.  PyGee333 uses the same resolutions as I do.  So there would be no support, no wide images.  You'd likely have to edit every single mesh, properly edit and scale each texture, and possibly modify the initial translations of every load screen.  If that's something you want to undertake - contact PyGee333.

Is that so ? I don't recall that, I'd need to check the pictures to see what you're referring to so i'm kinda surprised ; are you sure you're not "pushing" it a bit ? I'll check later on, thanks for your opinion anyway 👍

Is there a posibility that you could provide a link to a folder containing the pics you used in this mod @PyGee333? This is purely for my personal interest and I do not intend to use them to create a mod for others than myself. Recently I have come across a loading screen maker and rn I am looking for material to create my own loading screen compilation, that I hope you could help me out with.

Hey ; no worries about re_using any of my stuff for any other project in general (as long as free obviously) but sadly I didn't save the pictures I used -I did  most of the loadscreens like 2 years ago and only finished/polished it with Km4387 it recently for release

Hey is it only spose to be the first image for the title page every time or should it randomize? I don't get much of a loading screen as it loads pretty fast but the title screen would be nice to change up.

The screen for the main menu does not currently randomize.  You can set up your own if you want, using Main Menu Randomizer.  Be sure to read his description carefully, as you can easily nuke your current main menu nif and texture if you're not careful.

 

I have recently discussed setting up a MMR with PyGee333 for this, and sent him an example of how it's done.  So perhaps in the future we will create one.

The main screen is amazing, unfortunately other loading screens are still vanilla screens. I am not sure why that is, if someone could help with getting the other loading screens working that would be cool.

Sounds like you either have something overwriting the ESP or it's not enabled.  Once you're sure it's active, try moving it lower in your load order so it has priority.

Not all of the vanilla screens seem to replace, I got a couple vanilla loading screens and skyrim seems to like to prefer those. Any idea what may cause that?

All the base game, HF, DG, and DB screens are replaced - 351 of them.  It's likely another mod adding screens (some lore type plugins can look like vanilla), AE content, or a conflict in your load order.  As previous post, I suggest having Porny Loadscreens lower in your load order so it has priority.  You can find other mods that add screens by setting a filter in xEdit, and blacklist them with Display Tweaks.

 

I set all the screens to have a 1% chance of showing - most mods with screens have a 5% chance or higher - I've seen a few with 100% chance.  Those will usually show up alot more often, but once you blacklist them they won't at all.

I found two issues going through 335 meshes today.

 

PornyLoadScreen_9.nif was pointing incorrectly at PornyLoadScreen_6.dds - fixed

PornyLoadScreen_30.nif appeared blank - not sure why as it had the correct texture path.  Redid it and - fixed.  This is also probably the reason why one load screen was bright light with no image.

 

There's probably other mistakes, I'll keep at it.  But for now, a small update here until PyGee333 updates the OP.

 

This is a patch, just overwrite the main file - compatible with ALT FIX as well.  Safe to update midgame - only replaces two meshes.
