The Sims 3 launcher crash

General tech problem, but I can launch the launcher and hit "play", but then the game crashes and shuts itself down. I have checked all the possible fixes on the EA support site and across the interwebz. I have updated all my drivers, I have all the files and extensions, the DLLs, etc. This is a common enough problem, but I can't seem to find the solution. I can post the DX Diag log, if that helps.

Cela doit être un MOD qui empêche le lancement du jeu, cela met arriver assez souvent.

Souvent c'est un mod qui est fabriquer avec la version complète du jeu et que nous n'avons pas ou un package Sims 4.

Si vous avez modifier le launcher par un package vous devez trouver un fichier .bak qu'il renommer en .exe.
Il faut retirer tous les mod et lancer le jeu afin de confirmer si c'est bien cela le problème, ensuite remettre les mod par petit groupe.

That would make sense if the game was modded, but it's right off the installation. No mods.

Quel est la configuration de votre ordinateur ?

Il ce peu que la carte graphique ou le PC en lui même ne soit pas suffisamment performant !

Quel Windows utilisez-vous ?

If you have a relatively new computer (made after 2013), it might well be that your graphics adapter isn't recognized.

 

Take a look at this, which includes info about getting newer graphics recognized by the game.

In request and find I posted a link to the Archive.org site with ALL the Sims 3 EP/SP available as .iso if Origin gets players down. Without finding this I wouldn't be playing the Sims 3 anymore.

The Lady Duchess Alder Lake patch worked for me when I had this problem.
