i0Bjhansen0 Posted January 17, 2024 Posted January 17, 2024 (edited) So for my current playthrough, I'm gathering a lot of followers and my current mods allow them to become lovers instead of just allies. I'd like to keep most, if not all, of them in a single house for them to live. I currently use EFF and it has an option to change the residence of the follower. I'm guessing it's pretty basic by just using the cell the follower currently is in as their residence. I'd like to get a new player house mod that either supports EFF, or isn't too expansive that setting their residence in would still give them things to do. Thanks. travelmedic Posted January 18, 2024 Posted January 18, 2024 I played on Skyrim LE, but I'm going to guess these mods are also SE available. For an excellent player home near Whiterun, look for Elysium Estate. If I remember right, there's a brief 2 minute mini-quest to get the house, and it's really well done. I have two castle mods that I really like: Castle Valdmire, which is out past the Western Watchtower (where you kill your first dragon). Get it after a short quest to kill the current resident. Riverwood Keep, which I think you have to buy. The people who created those two castles also have lots of other house/castle mods, one of which may suit you better if those don't. If it's also available for SE, look for a mod called My Home Is Your Home 2 Plus (MHIYH). Not only does it let you assign homes to your followers, but you can also set up basic schedules for your followers. For example, at Riverwood Keep you could tell one of your followers to stay in the main hall of the castle from 0800-1600, then go to the Sleeping Giant Inn from 1600-2400, and back to a residential wing of the castle from 0000-0800. Helps keep the places feeling more alive or lived in.
stillsnow Posted January 18, 2024 Posted January 18, 2024 EFF is amazing and I don't think there's a home it does not work in. Anyway here's my suggestion: Leaf Rest and Bug Fix For Leaf Rest
Miauzi Posted January 18, 2024 Posted January 18, 2024 Does a player's home always have to be "stationary"? ... definitely no https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/38420?tab=posts Yes - it's the Dwemer version of the "Tardis" (from "Dr. Who")... much larger on the inside than the outside I know - there's fast travel in Skyrim... but why not travel through Skyrim with your entire residence?

It looks to be much better than using EFF's residence option for places that aren't just 1 cell. I've tried Elysium Estate before when there was a mod posted here for an old version. I ended up removing both pretty quickly though. Castle Valdmire looks good for a vampire playthrough. Riverwood Keep seems to be a little big. But with MHIYH I can use a different house that I used to use. 2 hours ago, stillsnow said: EFF is amazing and I don't think there's a home it does not work in.
