Revamp

Due to a few issues with Dark Siren, I decided to work on The Last Saintess. Mod is out in the usual place.

Yeah, if everyone stopped paying for mods, paid mods would eventually disappear.

 

But notice I didn't say they'd become free. I said they'd disappear. If you look at it from the perspective of someone who charges for mods, the money is the reason they do it. Not praise. Not love of the community. If they wanted those things, they'd already be offering their mods for free. If they're charging, they're treating it like a job. And if your boss decided to stop paying you, you'd stop showing up for work.

 

Hell, even some free mods might disappear. People who charge will often release free mods to market themselves and get people interested in their work. If no one ever bought their work, they have less incentive to make and release free mods as well.
