nehaberlan Posted December 21, 2023 Posted December 21, 2023 (edited) Hi, I was testing a mod. When I opened the map, I got this: It looks like mountain textures are missing. I use A Quality World Map 9.0.1 all the time. I tried to reinstall it, but it didn't work. I tried the "verify integrity of game files" trick. It didn't work at all. It happened to me for the first time. I thought that It might happen because of my mod that I converted from LE. Because, it has a map marker. For that reason, I disabled it to check if the problem has been caused by the mod. The textures were still missing. Do you have any idea why this problem occurred? If you can help anyway, I'll appreciate. Thank you in advance... Edited December 21, 2023 by nehaberlan

I used my Backup TexGen_Output and DynDOLOD_Output files, and I installed them. It worked. Look at the screenshot: So, Why it's happening? What is the reason? How can I get the default textures and keep them? Do you any idea? Because, I don't want to use DynDOLOD.
traison Posted December 21, 2023 Posted December 21, 2023 The map is essentially the same thing as if your player was high up in the sky. What you see on the map is the LOD meshes, probably the lowest quality of them. LOD meshes have their own automatically generated textures. To restore the default vanilla meshes and textures, delete these: Spoiler +---Meshes +---Terrain +---blackreach +---Objects +---DeepwoodRedoubtWorld +---Objects +---Trees +---DLC01FalmerValley +---Objects +---Trees +---dlc01soulcairn +---Objects +---DLC1HunterHQWorld +---Objects +---Trees +---dlc2apocryphaworld +---Objects +---DLC2SolstheimWorld +---Objects +---Trees +---japhetsfollyworld +---Objects +---MarkarthWorld +---Objects +---Trees +---SkuldafnWorld +---Objects +---Trees +---Sovngarde +---Objects +---Trees +---Tamriel +---Objects +---Trees +---Textures +---Terrain +---DeepwoodRedoubtWorld +---Trees +---DLC01FalmerValley +---Trees +---DLC1HunterHQWorld +---Trees +---DLC2SolstheimWorld +---Trees +---MarkarthWorld +---Trees +---SkuldafnWorld +---Trees +---Sovngarde +---Trees +---Tamriel +---Trees 1

I deleted those files. Probably the same files. Several folders/files that have been named "DynDOLOD". Then, I uninstalled the the TexGen_Output, DynDOLOD_Output. And also the main installation files of DynDOLOD. DynDOLOD Resources, Scripts, DynDOLOD.DLL Right now, I have no problem. Thank you.
