This is a mod that removes Zooey's bikini and skirt from her BP skin and since it's beach themed I figured that a nude beach was the obvious reason to have her be comfortable without her swimsuit.

I wanted to write down some of my thoughts on making this mod because someone might find it interesting and I can use it to show my growth.

First thing, Zooey's breasts on Zai's nude mod were a couple of sizes too big compared to the original skin and making them fit was such a hassle. I had to take the breasts from another mod they made to try and match the size.

This caused... some issues. Mostly with the shading. If you aren't looking at it you probably wont notice it but I did and I hated that I couldn't get it right. Editing vertex normals in blender is a nightmare and abnormal doesn't like 4.2.

Made me realize that I have a tendency to hold myself to too high of a standard and that I needed to say "Fuck it, it's good enough"... so her we are. Fuck it, it's good enough.

I wish I got permission from Zai to post this though. I hate the phrase "It's easier to ask for forgiveness than ask for permission".

Anyways, if you've made it this far then I will reward you with future posts. I have a massive backlog of half nude mods, inspired by the type you would see from the MiHoYo mods on this site, that I've been too afraid to post but I'm gonna start slowly trickling them out starting with this one for Vira, nude base made by %%xxSJxx%% and created with permission:

So I've already made mods for Vira, Katalina and Ferry (Ferry will only be posted here because Gamebanana is a bit more strict on Ferry's age being written as "14 at death" (I think that the version used for GBVS looks likes she has grown up from her first appearance which did look 14. Compare this Ferry, https://gbf.wiki/Ferry, to the one we have in GBVS which is based on her SSR version.)) as well as an edit for Metera and Djeeta (once again, can't be posted on Gamebanana). I'm trying to spread them out because... Honestly the anxiety of me dropping all of the mods I've made over the past few months all at once and how people will think of it.

Not yet but it should be easier than you'd think. Just need to go into the un-paked mod file and delete the assets files for her vanilla outfit and then re pak it. I'll post that version after I do the post for Vira.

Next in the line of half nude/functionally nude characters that I have made over the past few months. This mod makes both base Vira and install Vira outfits more revealing while trying to keep as much of  the original form as possible.

There are two variants in the mod folder. One which has the codpiece still on her install version and one which doesn't.

I'm gonna spend a bit of time talking about xxSJxx's nude base because the way it was make was very nearly perfect and that made it so much easier to create these mods. There was almost 0 clipping issues and they were mostly solved using a weight transfer or deleting the daces of the model that will never be seen anyways. Over all creating this mod was almost "plug and play" so mad props to xxSJxx.

I also had to learn a little bit about how the textures all worked to add the metal line underneath her breasts in her base version.

All in all this was a mod that could have been difficult but was surprisingly easy. Next up is Katalina so look forward to that!

So this one was actually one of the first types of these mods I created and the initial edit took a little it longer than expected. The arms took a little bit to line up with her armour and the cape was attached to the breast plate in a way that required me to edit it to make it look good.

I personally wanted to keep her buttcape but it too was directly attached to her breast plate... that I deleted so that put me in a weird position where I wanted to keep the belts and butt cape but it was kind of floating in the air. So I decided to try something new and edit one of the belts she already has around her waist and use it to keep the buttcape up. There might be a bit of clipping if you look close enough but I think it's fine. It also means you can keep her scabbard and not have it float next to her if you want to keep it!

Next up is Metera which is 90% done, I just want to round off any edges.

Whoo boy this one took slightly longer than I thought it would.

I ended up redoing it a couple of times because of various mistakes such as:
Forgetting to darken the vertex colours.
Clipping issues with the breast veil.
Forgetting to apply the skeleton to the FBX file so all four versions was T-posing
Etc and etc

Even then there is still a touch of clipping with the legs and the veil. And some of the palettes don't have the breast veil and leg veil match colours.
But it's good enough for now. 

This was going to be the last mod like this for a while because I ran out of ideas but halfway through I thought of another one! Zeta's Crimson Bomber.
This one still has a lot of work to do; damaged version, weights and also any vertex painting that needs to be done. So look forward to it.

Took a while to finish this but it's finally done and uploaded.

Whew... Sure as hell been a while since my last upload. Turns out money is important to live so I had to focus on work for a bit to keep myself afloat (as well as other, personal, problems). But it is done!

This one was kind of a pain because of multiple reasons. Firstly, the UV map for Zeta's original costume does not match her second costume so I had to redo costume 02's ILM and UV map for her skin. Fortunately there was a spare space where her underwear used to be so I just copied the parts of the texture I needed over to it. And then I got to the damaged version and realised I had to change the UV map ALL over again... guh.

Secondly, model changes tend to mess up the bloom map. A lot. So her sleeves ended up way too bright and just didn't look that good. Ended up having to go in and change the bloom map texture, putting it in game, checking the bloom and the repeating. Over and over again. I know the extra outfit slots mod allows for loading mods without relaunching the game but I never figured out how to do it.

Aside from all that I'm happy with how this all came out. Had to put in a lot of work to hide a few blemishes like the shading where I connected the nude body to her boots and some small clipping with the jacket. If I did my job right no one will notice the hard work.

Unfortunately I think I am out of mod ideas... is what I would say if this was Gamebanana. Fortunately I have a couple more ideas in the making that I can share here, which includes Ferry and Vikala's costume 02.

 

 

Vikala's mod is almost done, just need to do some touch ups (messed up the vertex colours). Since I don't have Vikala's costume 02 I'm gonna try my best but because of that I will probably upload it as a perpetual "beta" until then.

 

Ferry's is pretty good as well but I am not sure what design I am liking for her top half... I'll leave some screenshots here so feel free to reply/dm me any ideas.

Amazing work as always, truly a blessing every time you post.

 

For the Ferry design: I always prefer the version that leaves as much of the original outfit intact as possible. That said, in this case I feel like the second version looks the best. The first version covers her top a bit too much in my opinion, while the third leaves out too much of her original design. The second one seems like a perfect middle ground. 

 

If you ever feel like it, would you consider doing a version of your mods that is only topless? To me topless only variants have a special charm to them and are always my preferred versions. Thank you very much for hearing us out and I'm looking forward to whatever you're doing next!

Spooky Vicky Half Nude (BETA)

 

This starts the series of mods for characters that wouldn't be allowed on Gamebanana, Vikala's battle pass costume has now been made functionally nude.

 

 

Special thanks to Zai for giving me permission to use their nude mod.

 

This is considered "beta" because I don't actually own the skin and have to rely on another party to test it (many thanks to them). Once it becomes available I'll see if I can clean up some of the minor issues with the shading. Also I don't have as many screen shots because of this reason.

Not a lot to say about this one, I had it pretty much done for a while but I wanted to get the Gamebanana okay mods out first.

If you want to know what issues I can see there is:
Minor clipping with her breasts and suspenders.

Shading mismatch where I connected the nude body to the original model.

The rim light is a little too strong in her SBA around her crotch.

 

Going to run with this version for Ferry next.

Also going to have some variations as well because I've seen people wanting these options.

A more recent topic, man Galleon looks fun to play. I wasn't to drawn in by her design but the gameplay sold her to me. Also if my assumption about the start of the trailer is true then she already has a nude model used in her intro. Which means mods are going to be really easy to make, NSFW and SFW (even if she does have Barbie doll anatomy) because there is a base to build off of. I'm sure Zai or xxSJxx will be able to make a quick nude mod if so.

 

As for my style I had a look and thought of three things

1) Pull the white part of the top up to reveal more of her breasts while keeping the necklaces and ruffles
2) Lower the front part to keep the look of the front of the dress while also revealing the rest of the breasts
3) Make her bottomless. Unfortunately it seems like the legging on her left side goes all the way up and connects to her panties or pant or whatever she wears there so I'm gonna have to mess around to keep the legging while also revealing her.

 

Also depending on how it looks I might be able to remove the front part of her dress as well.

I think I saw someone have one. I wasn't too much of a fan of the design so I thought of making my own. It was either xxSJxx or DarkLeafNinja.

This mod replaces normal Galleon with he nude version in the SSBA animation.
I tried to get it out before the servers went live but messed it up before that and got distracted playing Warframe. I thought it would have been really funny to see peoples reaction to the mod before the servers even went live.

There are some graphical issues, mostly through the jumping dive grab thing but I fixed most of the issues that I found outside of that.
The textures should be good but since I don't have all of them I can't test them.
