RichterQ87 Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 So, I've massively fucked up Sanguine Debauchery beyond my level of fixing it. I just don't understand. I was trying to update it and followed exactly the instructions on clean saves for each save game that had started Sanguine Debauchery and everything. So I now have two problems with it Uninstalling: After following the exact instructions on what to do before uninstalling it by cleaning each save that has started Sanguine Debauchery and then deleting all the files of Sanguine Debauchery, launching up Skyrim, it crashed. I checked BOSS for any errors, there are none. I checked for any left over files I may have forgotten, I made sure my Dual Sheath Redux was all well and patched, I made sure FNIS was all good and everything was fine. So I started TESS5Edit and found the error but have no idea what's causing it. Here's what popped up before the error: [00:13] Background Loader: [Dual Sheath Redux Patch.esp] Adding master "sanguinesDebauchery.esp" [00:13] Background Loader: [sanguinesDebauchery.esp] Loading file [00:13] Background Loader: Fatal: <EOSError: System Error. Code: 2. The system cannot find the file specified> So it appears that it's trying to load up sanguinesDebauchery.esp without it even being there! I've tried absolutely everything. An earlier update etc but nothing works. Installing: I can't install. I just can't. When I install it, it fixes the problem that uninstalling was causing, but it doesn't make the mod itself appear. The MCM menu never shows up no matter what, if it does which it did once it will be either empty or have only the logo. So it's almost as if Sanguine Debauchery has now turned into a fix to stop breaking my Skyrim. So, help?
winny257 Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 why do not you install manually! you open easily the DATA folder and copy your mod. german \ deutsch ! warum installierst du nicht manuell ! du öffnest ganz einfach den DATA ordner und kopierst deine mod .
Lodakai Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 dual sheath redux patch is looking for sanguine in TESVEdit... so you either need to skyproc patch that without Sanguines.. or disable it as well. Sanguines has become one of its masters This also applies to loading your game
Veladarius Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Did you uninstall the 3 patches that come with Sanguines Debauchery? The esp's names start with SD.
Lodakai Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Here's what is happening just so you are aware of it. When you removed your old version of Sanguines.. the scripts for it are still in your save file. Loading up with the new version is not registering with the MCM because you did not have a clean save in between. The old scripts are still present. It could either resolve itself by giving it a while to update and register with the MCM... or there is some functionality preventing it to do so. (it could take up to 10 minutes for the menu to load properly) Disabling Sanguines created a missing master file for Dual Sheath Redux.. because the skyproc patcher pulled in assets from sanguines to that file. When you try to load without it.. the game will crash because DSR cannot find one of its masters. The same applies for TESVEdit. Here is probably how I would tackle this problem. STEP 1: Load your old version.. check the MCM to see if you can disable the features. give it a few moments to call off the scripts. Save.. exit to desktop STEP 2: Disable Sanguines Disable Dual Sheath Redux Load the Game If you do not crash.. skip to step 4.. otherwise Step 3 STEP 3: Enable Dual Sheath Redux patch Run skyproc patcher. Step 4: Load the Game Walk around for 10 minutes and see if it is stable. Save and exit the game to desktop. STEP 5: Load the game Wait 5 minutes Save and exit the game to desktop. (YES AGAIN! just to be safe) STEP 6: Enable updated Sanguines enable Dual Sheath Redux patch Load the Game If you skipped step 3.. you should be done. If not.. Step 7 Step 7: Save and exit to desktop Run Skyproc Patcher Load the Game

Actually I had to include some of my own steps instead of disabling Sanguine Debauchery uninstalling it and re-installing Dual sheath Redux but without your help I never could have done it!
