Interesting, I just posted a Curie related AAF issue similar to yours. No idea what's causing it to be honest.

Just found something after noticing it as well. In the SEU forum EgoBallistic lays it out:

Right, then she is considered human for animation purposes.

To fix the Miss Nanny animations, edit the lines that look like the below in Data\AAF\SavageCabbage_animationData_Handy.xml :

        <actor gender="M" skeleton="HandyCreateABot" idleForm="XXYYZZ">

on each of these, remove the 'M' in gender="M" so they look like

        <actor gender="" skeleton="HandyCreateABot" idleForm="XXYYZZ">

That will make those animations work for Mr Handy / Miss Nanny of either gender.

I found this too vague to find.

Could you possibly give a bit more of what precedes it please?  Thanks!

Never mind - But thanks if you were going to:

I uninstalled that animation pack from MO2 and deleted it.

Then I opened my archived version and extracted all to a new folder. I then created a Txt file and copied the original Zip file name and saved it.

I then deleted that archive. I then opened the Mr Handy folder, found the XML, and edited it (any other way either failed because another program had it open or it tried to reference an earlier download and the change would revert).

After the edit took - I recompressed it into a new 7z, copied the original name of the download to the new one. Reinstalled it with MO2 and moved it back to it's original position in the 'load order'.

Started the game and life goes on.

The change to the file(s) itself was painless thanks to the before/after you posted!

I wonder what prevented you from simply opening the mod folder through MO2 and making changes to the file in question?
You can even copy it to a new folder as a new mod so you're modifying the copy, not the original, and can always see which files have been changed.

I only recently began using MO2. Like 2 weeks ago. Before that my install was so old I couldn't even used Mod Configuration Menu. So it's like learning to drive backwards on the other side of the road - takes some familiarity.

Of course being someone whom has often been called on to train others - I see the same old problems with 1/2 explanations or other incomplete information given by those who assume the working knowledge of those interested.

And even then - you didn't explain a single thing about 'What I didn't do and should have'.  Get my point?   :D

I could have ignored returning to explain it was solved but instead went step by step in how I managed that in case someone else has the same problem, is unfamiliar, and gets posts that offer nothing but head scratching and a bit of a superiority complex.
