Frayed Posted December 1, 2023 Posted December 1, 2023 Nice. I was hoping someone would make a patch like this ever since I tried Skyclimb ages ago. Never got around to making one myself. I tested this running just DD 5.2 and it works without any issues. Definitely keeping it in my load order. ?

I was thinking it might be improved by adding an option (through dialogue or just automatic) to use magic to climb when hands are bound, but with the consequence that it emits from the PCs breasts, which would be painful (so she would squeal and lose some stealth as well as a little health).

Gudulba Posted November 7, 2024 Posted November 7, 2024 Unfortunately, this collides with SkyParkour - A SkyClimb Addon - 360 and Hold to Climb. They edit the same script (Scripts\SkyClimbQuestScript.pex). Any way to solve that? 1

This is a patch i made myself for SkyParkour. it replaces the conflicting script. i've also included the source script i've edited. DD&Toy patch Sky Parkour.zip 2

Ah, thank you for the suggestion. I wasn't aware of that. I have tried to add a keyword to the fail condition (the currently worn rubber boots), but I still get the climbing animation. On a sidenote: maybe the "Low Stamina (Failed)" animation is not the optimal way to go. It still plays an animation, which might break yoke or armbinder animations. Your animation is failing because the mod is checking both that condition and the OR condition below it.
Gudulba Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 Thank you, that worked and now the "failed jump animation" triggers. Unfortunately, this animation still breaks armbinders and other binding devices, at least visually.

Hiya, looks i completely missed this message in my inbox, sorry for the late reply, Skyparkour 2 removed that script i was editing, and sky parkour 3 does not use skyclimb as a dependency anymore, nothing in the script i can edit now to block the climb while wearing DD's. Also the github page for sky parkour is dead, so i cant even look at the source code now, best i can do is Download DDNG, and PAR should prevent the breaking of animations, but you can still climb.
