[solved] Why is PCs head suddenly blue?

Hi there,

 

my old potatoe of a PC went up in smoke two weeks ago, now on a new rig I'm setting up Skyrim again. All went well (apart from some stupid mistakes) but now all of a sudden my head is blue. Yes, I installed two armours and shoes that needed BodySlide - but BS doesn't touch the head.

Starting a new game doesn't help, when I want to use my presets, some are blue, some are normal (and some have blue bodies)

Any ideas how to fix that?

You are missing an overlay or makeup mod that these presets use. Go into racemenu and take away their overlays/Makeup to see which one of them it is

I'm not even using one of these - it's a character preset that I made from vanilla stuff right at the start in the LAL prison cell.

The weird thing is, that I went into the Bannered Mare, talked to Hulda. Went out again, as I said above, installed two armours and some high heels. Loaded the Autosave and my head was blue...

Okay - plain stupidity.

 

Changed a setting in nioverride.ini

section [Overlays] bEnableFaceOverlays=1

?

 

Doing too many things at the same time, because "I know what I'm doing!!!"
