Average looking normal Sims?

I see a lot of Sims on Patreon and on here that are modeled after celebrities and models of different kinds. All beautiful and don't get me wrong, the creators do excellent work. But, me personally I'm looking for more everyday Sims, different shapes and sizes, women a little more natural looking. I don't know if this makes sense, but if anybody knows what I am trying to say and where to find it, many thanks.

Not sure if this will be up to your alley, but I remember using Reila's Life is Strange inspired sims for similar reasons.
They are all very nicely made, but not in a hyper "babygirl" style which is quite common for lot of sim-makers.
Probably worth a peep, even if just to check it out.

There is a built-in gallery that one can access either when starting up the game or when in Create-A-Sim mode that is filled with sims based upon average people (including the creators of the characters themselves). It wouldn't make a whole lot of sense to fill specialty sites with the unremarkable.

For Electronic Arts, however, hosting all kinds of sims is just the cost of doing business.

I'm not sure it's what you are looking for, but check out mrrakkon sims. It's not that they aren't sexy, most of them are very sexualised actually, since he fits a lot of them to be things like pornstars and models, but they don't look like dolls, they look like actual people, with flaws and personality.

So maybe not "average looking", but rather "human looking", getting away from that usual doll-appearance.

Yeah, I've been digging there some, but to be honest those creations are mostly within the limitations of what the base game and game packs include. I was looking for more original and creative offerings. I am not opposed to patreon memberships either to support content that is worth my money.

For what is worth, I think my sims are as plain as they come, at least look-wise, bordering on boring. Have a look in my signature. I've uploaded a few. Currently on a break, but at some point there will be more to come.

In the main download there is a list of released sims. You can find links there to introductions to each of the released sims, but I knew her since I've played with that sim myself. You can just click random links in that list until you hit one that you feel like downloading and playing, although if you go down into the AEP category you become less likely to hit any "average looking" sims since they are supposted to be pornstars. You are most likely to find more average people in the households section. Even if you dont want to play the entire family there are plenty of more average people in those.

 

Do note that mrrakkon sets his sims up with skills, likes and dislikes and custom reward-traits most of the time, and you also need the "Shared CC" mods for his sims, so read the installation-instructions if you want them.
