No crosshair when riding[Solved]

I can't remember if I ever had a crosshair while riding but the case is that I don't have one, and disabling mods and starting a new game doesn't fix it. Is there a way to enable it?

There is no crosshairs when you are on a horse. That's just the way it is.

I get my crosshairs to appear when I unsheath my weapon for mounted combat.

Well, I don't, so something must be wrong and a search revealed that there are more people who have this problem.

This may sound stupid now, but do you use immersive hud? if yes check it's option.
if you use the last version of convinient horses, you may want to check it's config as well. Didn't try the latest version yet, so there may be an setup for it.

Found what was causing it. It was no enemies on compass. Any modifications to the map and compass can cause the crosshair to disappear.
