nordwhore
I just did a clean install of Skyrim and reinstalled a handful of mods to play the new update to Dark Investigations and upon raching Whiterun the gam becomes impossible to play. CTDs constantly and when I exit the White Run stables (after teleporting there, only way to get close without a CTD, the screen becomes completely black bar a few flickering white remnant of UI Load order is: Skyrim.esm=1 Update.esm=1 Dawnguard.esm=1 HearthFires.esm=1 Dragonborn.esm=1 ApachiiHair.esm=1 DLC1FLL.esp=1 DLC2FLL.esp=1 HighResTexturePack01.esp=0 HighResTexturePack02.esp=0 HighResTexturePack03.esp=0 SkyUI.esp=1 UnreadBooksGlow.esp=1 dip.esp=1 The Dance of Death - Ultimate Edition.esp=1 private_nokillblur_test.esp=1 Crimson Tide - Blood.esp=1 BarenziahQuestMarkers.esp=1 FeminizedLevelLists.esp=1 FNIS is installed and run. jsmith42
First off, I'm presuming the numbers next to the mods indicate that they are either active or inactive. If that is the case, you need to do two things. First, move the HD texture packs to the top of your load order, just below the ESM files. Second, activate them and try booting. If that doesn't work, check the sticky at the top and read it carefully. Link to comment
CGi
You can keep the HD DLC ESPs unticked. You'll hardly notice any difference anyway, despite less blocky face normals. To get rif of those ESPs completly, you can add the HD DLC BSAs to the iNi. Shortens your load order.i don't know what dip.esp is (it's Dark investigations), but i think FeminizedLevelLists.esp, DLC1FLL.esp and DLC2FLL.esp are all Feminized Leveled Lists. Try w/o those. if the error still persists, run a pure vanilla game to check if it's nothing with the install itself. Recommended mod manager, to make such things waaayyyy easier: Mod Organizer. ballsy
Crimson Tide is outdated, and has reported lots of CTDs, issues, whatever for a long time now. Link to comment
