Borked My Install and Lost My Cursor

Hey all, 

I'm trying to get into Oblivion modding for the first time in a decade, and everything was going well - I would install around ten mods or so and then test to make sure the game was running and stable. Problem being when I put the finishing touches on with Tamago/Hiyoko Club - I opened the game to find my cursor missing, and no text popping up when I hover over an item. The curser is now a transparent square,  Screenshot below.

 

I disabled every mod to see what might be causing it - and even with them all gone, the problem persisted. I removed my OBSE plugins folder as well, again with no luck. Anyone know what might be causing this?

Have you deleted your Oblivion ini ?

It is next to your save folder. Not in the Bethesda Softworks/Oblivion/data/  folder.   It is in  . . . My Documents/My Games/Oblivion

Delete the Oblivion ini.  Yes delete it.  Then start the game. The game will create a new ini with the default settings.  So you have to do your changes again ( e.g.  Remove Borders, CPU tweaks, ...  or whatever you had changed )

Test with the game without Mods ( can be with OBSE )

And please read Mod discriptions:

DarkBloodline you can not use with LoversTrueCrimeEx.esp. Use one or the other.

Lovers Joburg can cause problem with DarkBloodline. I had no problem when I played DarkBloodline. But with very high settings, Joburg can turn your game into an unplayable endless orgy   My Joburg settings are much lower than the default setting.

 

PlayerSlaveEncounters: There is a patch for LoversBitch ( PSELoversBitchPatch.esp )
