The top is likely being registered as 32 and 52, with the bottom as 52 meaning you can only wear one or the other. It's usually down to DD or SOS. If you wear the top and go to SOS there is an option to make it revealing. This will let you wear the bottom. This mod will display the slots used on armour in the inventory screen. Then you'll be able to see the slots in action and where they overlap: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/49608

shrtjsrtj Posted October 24, 2023 Posted October 24, 2023 There are also spells that come with SOS to set items as revealing, which is faster than using the MCM if you have a lot of outfits with this issue. Open the console and type: help revealing to get the code, for me they're near the bottom and start with SPEL: Then type player.addspell XXXXXXXX and change the XXXXXXXX to whatever it is in your game. Should be something ending in 0012f1 for the player version of the spell. Then just use the spell while wearing the slot 32 item, which is usually the top and it should fix it.
Ninjaluxray Posted November 19, 2023 Author Posted November 19, 2023 (edited) so im still having an issue where a armor peice shorts and the bra is fighting over slot 32 even through the shorts is 52 unequiped but then becomes 32 when equiped and then forces the bra to become unequiped and i did download the bodyslot mod here the img Edited November 19, 2023 by redlink32 image was not showing
traison Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 (edited) Like the others have pretty much said already, all armor pieces have equipment slots that they occupy. Typically you can't have 2 items in the same slot. One item can take up more than one slot. The slots are defined in the nif file and the associated esp/esm/esl file. In most cases the slots in both locations need to be the same. You can edit the slots in the plugin with xEdit, and the nif can be edited with NifSkope or Outfit Studio. If you can't do it yourself, zip up the esp/esm/esl that came with the mod, as well as the relevant nif files and upload it here. I'll fix it for you. If this is a BodySlide-enabled mesh, send the mesh from the bodyslide folder instead. Edited November 19, 2023 by traison
Varithina Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 It is shlongs it automatically adds slot 52 aka the shlong to all slot 32 items, go into sos mcm and flag the bra v4 as revealing, you may well have to un-equip and re-equip for it to register properly, and even that can be slow as hell to register, you can also create a patch to add sos as a master file to the armour mod and add the revealing keyword to each armour that takes slot 32.

As for making one there is pretty much two ways to do it, one just requires shlongs and the mod itself, the second still requires both of them but also creates a third esp/esl. Load up xedit, and make sure that the mod you want to add keywords for and schlongs are selected, let it all load up, then you have two options one is copy the armour section from the armour mod into a new esp, you only need the slot 32 items in this case, after doing that name and then select the new mod, and add a new master file to it, add the schlongs file, now go into the schlong mod, and choose the keyword section, expand that out, the select the revealing keyword, copy it, then go down onto the new mod created onto each armour piece and choose add keyword in the keyword section, paste the revealing keyword into the new keyword you have created, then select ok, when finshed doing this, you pretty much have everything you need, exit and save the new mod, activate it, maybe setting it to esl first if it is small enough.
