So this may be a silly question... I've been out of the mod scene on this game for a while now, just a few basic ones loaded up right near launch.

 

How are you making all of those characters nude?

 

The only one I had from like nine months ago was a texture/mesh replacer where you had to equip someone with the bikini, and then they would appear nude. Obviously that doesn't work with random NPCs, so are there some new mods I need to know about? Like, just... a whole nudist society or something?

In Skyrim (LE), there were (and still are) several mods that made armor and clothing invisible, so NPCs appeared naked.

 

As far as I know, in Starfield no one has done this yet, as the set of clothes and space suits is gigantic!

 

What you see in the images above is done by me, through the game console commands, in my progression in the game, when I come across one or more female NPCs that are unique (and not randomly generated by the game engine). How do I do this?

 

1 - I open the game console;
2 - Click on the NPC (sometimes it is necessary to turn the upper mouse wheel until the NPC's identification appears).
3 - Enter the showinventory command.
4 - Look for the ID numbers of the clothes and space suits and then you must remove them one by one (usually it's just two that you need to remove).

 

Example of what you see if you do this on one of the guards at the Gal Bank in Akila City, right after the Shaw Gang elements surrender.

 

 

What you have to remove is the outfit with the ID 00227720 and the spacesuit with the ID 00192293, so the commands you will have to give in the console will be these:

 

removeitem 00227720

 

Followed by this:

 

removeitem 0019223

 

The end result is this:

 

 

Usually this NPC is naked for a long time. If you want this NPV to have its clothes back, just open the game console, select it by clicking on this NPC and give the command recycleactor.

 

However, I do not advise using console commands, especially recycleactor, on companions that are following us, as there may be a risk of interfering with the progression of a quest in which they are involved at that moment.

Sorry, I forgot to tell you how to get the Companions naked!

 

Suppose we are talking about Sarah.

 

First make sure Sarah isn't following you on a mission.

 

Then you open the game console, see her inventory. Write down the IDs of the clothing and spacesuit she wears.

 

Then, still within the game console, issue a player.additem command followed by one of these IDs. In your inventory there should now be a copy of her outfit and space suit.

 

Then click on Sarah and use the removeitem command for each of the items you want to remove from her, i.e. her outfit and space suit.

 

Exit the console. Now Sarah will wear whatever you want or simply walk around naked.

 

If your partner catches you playing Starfield with Sarah naked, I don't know you at all.😇
