SL : Odd behavior. Noddacomplaint jes curious

Something odd has been happening for the past couple few months. Not a "bad" odd mind you. I really haven't given it much mind, since it's probably harmless, and even could be construed to be beneficial (its behavior is very "organic"), but I am curious on the issue of "why?", or "wtf how'd dat happen?... Kewl!"

Recently-ish, when an SL animation sequence plays, it doesn't just play (step 1, step 2... step last) and finish. Instead, as of a couple few months ago, it now (all on its own) autoswaps for a new sequence, (at any point in the sequence. after the first stage, second, 4th, whatever, it just does its own thing), then another, then another... sometimes one sequence and done, sometime it goes on for a half hour (literally), swapping between whichever sequences are on the active tagged list, sometimes going back to play sequences it's already played along the way. In fact, it doesn't even (necessarily) go to step one of a new sequence on sequence swap, it just goes to "some" step on the newly selected sequence.

Anyone else experiencing similar behavior? And does anyone have any ideas what might have changed over the past ~2-3, months (might even be some "major improvement! AI command!" mod change and I just didn't update something until then) that's producing this? Maybe a newer setting I overlooked, or some weird combo of settings (ex: a combo of the newish SL setting "edging" and some other setting)?

No load list/mod list (unless asked). Not looking to "solve" anything (ie fix a problem), just trying to get a better conceptual/mechanics understanding of what might be going on. I doubt it's a glitch (although if it is, it's not the worst of things)

what say yee? Lend me your insights, community.

I had a mod way back which did this. As far as I know there's no witchcraft here, just some mod spicing things up as it were. There's probably some key function names you can search for, if you want to know which mod is doing it.
