dirkinz Posted September 28, 2023 Posted September 28, 2023 When editing armor records in SSEEdit and changing the slots of them, over half the available slots are listed as unnamed. Is there anyway to assign custom names to these slots in the editor?
Varithina Posted September 28, 2023 Posted September 28, 2023 As far as I am aware slot names are assigned by the game itself, you can not change them.

No. But you might want to look at this reference table to see what goes where: https://github.com/DeviousDevices/Docs/wiki/Slot-Usage-Reference/

I am already working off a reference sheet. I'm messing with a lot of armors so it's just tedious to cross reference all the time and I'm trying to save a little headache.
Harvald56 Posted September 28, 2023 Posted September 28, 2023 (edited) You have to change to slots of the meshes as well, or they will become invisible. You can do that in nifskope Edited September 28, 2023 by Harvald56
