Z0mBieP00Nani Posted September 25, 2023 Posted September 25, 2023 So, last night I'm customizing my ship only to then back out of the build screen to see it taking off without me... this issue seems to bleed into past saves as well. I'm not playing that game currently, so I had to power everything down, but hopefully this issue will resolve its self, but if not... So much for Bethesda "polishing their game", more like polishing their knobs while play testing the game... 1
There are now also reports - that a spaceship docked to a station had "taken on a life of its own" and attacked the allied ships. The player aka pilot was on the station during this. 1

But that was solved by me simply landing on some planet via the space map. After the landing, my ship was back again
Z0mBieP00Nani Posted September 26, 2023 Author Posted September 26, 2023 Fortunately this glitch seems to have disappeared when powering on the game today, I also noticed that SFSE was not working, which means they must've updated the game, so maybe this glitch was fixed.
DocClox Posted September 27, 2023 Posted September 27, 2023 Vertibirds in Fo4 were basically Dragons, reskinned and with a couple of extra passenger nodes, but still basically creatures, I suspect Starfield ships use the same approach. If so, I wonder if the suffer from the manikin bug in Skyrim where the manikins (also actors) would occasionally forget they were supposed to be immobile and go for a walk. 1
The dragons are even "real" in the game! I have done a lot of "scanning" of the fauna and flora of over 100 moons and planets. Already at the beginning I noticed a planet - which had conspicuously BIG birds - which attack the ground animals as top predators in swarms from the air. Their flight behaviour near the ground was 1:1 that of the dragons from Skyrim ... the typical impossible aerodynamic manoeuvres.
