asdfawefaefjkafdkfz Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 When I use generateFNISforusers.exe, I get this text: you use a mod manager, run FNIS from its list of supported tools.<< Skyrim SE 64bit: ??.??.?? - C:\skyrim\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\ (Steam) >>Warning: Expected generator path: C:\skyrim\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\data\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users not found<< Skeleton(hkx) female: Default (99 bones) male: Default (99 bones) Patch: "GENDER Specific Animations" Patch: "SKELETON Arm Fix" Reading FNISBase V7.6 ... All Anim Lists scanned. Generating Behavior Files... No GENDER directory male No GENDER directory female Creature Pack not installed 0 animations for 1 mods successfully included (character). 2 Warning(s). But I have installed the creature pack in MO2. Why doesn't FNIS recognize this? (Also what do the gender directories mean)?

asdfawefaefjkafdkfz Posted September 10, 2023 Author Posted September 10, 2023 Should I just move the files into the steam folder or should I reinstall?
asdfawefaefjkafdkfz Posted September 10, 2023 Author Posted September 10, 2023 And is the bad install still a problem if it's being run through MO2?
liniul Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 (edited) Ok its been ages since I installed sexlab creatures but it requires alot of mods and you need to do some reseach but of the top of my head you (and you should check everything is say as this is from memory) you will need at least : sexlab up and running . creatures which allows sexlab to run creature animations sexlab animation loader (SLAL) and all its requirements to load creature animations . Fnis (and all its requirements + patches to increase max animation you can have.) you will need to run FNIS after you registering creature animations. with SLAL and if you are using MO2 make a mod from the overwrite. Also Fnis is not like a normal mod you need to install the mod and then tell MO2 where the FNIS executable is and run FNIS. You set up FNIS in a similar way to loot / bodyslide and outfit studio . Its really tricky if you have not installed loot and or Bodyslide and outfit studio with mod 2 before . so Also I think read all the docs with FNIS and make sure It is FNIS which can do creature animations I think that might be an option when you download FNis .Its a while since I installed it Mods that add creature animations and or creature bodies like Horny creature of skyrim / more nasty critters etc and any requirments they might need. you will also need cocks so Slongs of Skryim ( SOS )+ SOS Creature cocks add on I not sure what its called AND/or Beast Cocks??? I just use SOS + the creature add for SOS Mods that initiate sex with creature so a defeat mod or other mods plus check you have all the utilities that the above requires plus all the stuff I have forgotten Edited September 10, 2023 by liniul
Tlam99 Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 FNIS.exe needs to be installed via the Data tab. Watch the video how to install.
asdfawefaefjkafdkfz Posted September 10, 2023 Author Posted September 10, 2023 Yes, I am running it through MO2. the reason there's a bad install is because if you download MO2 today, it doesn't put all your mods in the Steam Skyrim folder but in a separate folder for MO2. Is it still a problem? I can try to manually create the directory FNIS expects either though putting it there or by symlinking it there but would either of those work? For now I'm going to reinstall everything FNIS and just see if that fixes anything. Will update. Thanks for the help.
