Help with further editing articles of clothing properly

I have a piece of clothing i need help with. I need to edit it or adjust it to work in more ways that i currently have it. I am not a mesh maker by any means, i am needing help with meshing, and learning how to properly edit and make the item(s) a stand alone mode and utilize Nifscope to finalize it. really I need a teacher because i want to make more armors and clothes for skyrim, FO4 and now Starfield. I have watched countless "how Too" videos but its hard for me to follow along with them.
