There's a modding discord already with some basic mods like voice and texture changes. There are custom models already but no way to put them in game yet. Progress is being made.

There's a no NSFW rule though. So don't expect to see any nude mods there. But once model swaps are figured out, it won't be hard to make it happen here.

Based on what I read in that server, it seems like they already have methods to mod the online version, but the offline version is coded differently with some stuff nearly fully removed.

Might take a while unless they can get some more help...

Based on what I've hearing today, it looks like texture mods are possible currently, but they're working on a tool to decrypt and re-encrypt files rn.

So making some of those more revealing outfits even more revealing (texture-wise) might be possible pretty soon. No ETA though.

If that texture can be used to remove some skirts, or shorten the length to see some panties, that would be sexy.

The only issue with that is the game has outlines, so any texture mods that try to make parts look invisible won't look right since the outlines will probably still be visible.

All of this is happening in "RxD: Community"'s sub server called "RxD: Derivative Works". You can find the first server I mentioned by just using discord's server search feature, and the sub server working on mods can be found under "affiliate-server-links".

just note to keep any talk of R+18 out of the server. since they have a no NSFW rule in place. the best that can be done is learning how the texture mods work from there and then someone here doing it.

Was checking the game meshes and turns out they have full bodies and everything, so make a nude mod wouldn't be too hard.

On the other hand the modding process seems quite convoluted taking a quick look at the server linked, sadly I don't have the time to learn it currently, but putting this out here in case anyone else is interested, or if someone is willing to get the meshes into the game I would also be willing to do the texture/mesh edits myself and then send them over.

I plan to look into it in a week or so as I need to get my Unity modding chops up to speed. Seems like more and more games are using Unity recently. Half of the fun is doing the model edits but I might check with @zai_ to see if he might want to make model edits too. No promises just yet until I can get a model swap done myself.

 

Anyone else is welcome to try in the meantime because a week is the soonest I will have time for testing it out.

I love that they have a panty outline XD you can easily make it a panties mod along with a nude mod at the same time, how super convient.

Some modding progress being made by some Taiwanese friends. Uncensored Roll's swimsuit and a few other things. Still no adult content but strides are being made.

The Roll mods are just hexidecimal changes in the game's files from what I read on the forums. The original model was in the game already. Still pretty cool that people are doing stuff in this game.

Looks like we finally have a file encryption/decryption tool for offline now. I'm also starting to see more complex texture mods pop up now too. Said tool is on the discord server along with some documents going over the program.

my Hot Alia mod. just a basic texture mod for alia. it's nothing too lewd, but it's something. drop the file in MEGA_MAN_X_DiVE_Offline\Game_Data\StreamingAssets\DownloadData and overwrite when asked.
