Hello! I'm making Lewd Swimsuit Tron and I learning about "Adding new Skin Slot" too! I just need some time to learn and try it

Here is my progression:

selfish request, but can you make an alternate version that removes the skirt and ribbon from her model just for a pure bikini version? if thats ok.

That is problem. I tried to delete texture alpha from skirt and ribbon in Blender it was transparent, But when I went to test it in-game It wasn't working. texture was not transparent at all and it appeared like normal texture.

And now I still can't figure out how to replace edited model. If I can replace the model to the game, It will be easy part since I can delete those skirts and ribbon.

 

I tried to ask about how to replace edited model in that discord server, But still no answer. So sad.

mabey a look at the swimsuit iris model might help in figuring it out? I know it has an alt skin with all the stuff removed for the nude mod. mabey looking into that should solve that issue.

I will try it later. I'm not giving up and I think I found a new way to figure it out, But later because I'm busy now.

Yes! I do every step and every method in that guide in Discord, But it's not working.

@MausChan I haven't tried it out yet so I'm not sure what the problem could be, there was someone on the discord that was having problems with their model not showing up though and it was due to the model's vertexes not having the right names. It was causing the model to be invisible. I'm aware that was not covered in the guide so I figured I would mention it here just in case.

The good news is, I can finally made skin as new skin slot and it work perfectly!

 

I will release it today after I do all variants. Almost finish!

I got a question if you are still hovering around. Do you recall how you removed the accessories around iris? Your info on what you used may help as some here are struggling on how to remove the frills hovering around some swimsuit alts.

No plan for editing model because I still can't figure out how to replace edited model into the game.

Known Issue:

When ran the game, there issue with "Kobun" texture it's turned to white in characters selection and skin selection menu.
I fixed it by play one stage, then select another character and select back to Tron, then equip the default skin, and then change the skin. I have no idea why it happened and I can't find Kobun texture in her model.

Considering I just saw the school swimsuit roll and tanned school swimsuit roll as extra slot mods on the discord, it might be a good idea to just start the process of doing this with the nsfw mods we have rn before continuing on...

 

They caught onto how to use those extra slots fast on the server

seeing those two mods is precicely why I want to see the nude/panty mod to be extra skins too. more skin options is always better then constantly replacing the main one.

Same idea! I have a plan to update Roll Nude mod to be custom skin version too.

They don't allow any nsfw mod.

After editing the FBX file in Blender, I export it as a DAE file. Then, I followed the model replacement method outlined in https://www.loverslab.com/topic/187241-rune-factory-5-modding/?do=findComment&comment=3864786.
