RushTX Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Hoping I'm posting this in the right place. Recently, I've started downloading Sims and families from the Gallery into my library to be added to my world. Per a video tutorial, I learned that you can set up in MCCC Population (via a computer) for new townies/NPCs to come more from your library than just randomly created (weird looking/pink and blue hair/pear shaped etc.) sims. But how do you get it to add in the sims just as they were created and saved, with no appearance, age, gender preference, or personality changes? For example, I downloaded a bunch of teens, but they come in as young adults, and their personality was completely different than what was shown in the gallery. Straight sims were now gay, or gay sims were now straight, etc. So I had to go into CAS with each one and fix them to what they were when I downloaded them. Also, for some of them, I had to move them into houses in order to fix their gender/sexual preferences to what I wanted them to be, or travel to different places with another sim and hope to find these new characters and fix those traits from there. I assume there is a setting for this in MCCC on the computer (to keep the sim exactly as saved), but I'm not sure what it is. Please let me know how to set this up if possible. Thanks!
Crashdown117 Posted August 29, 2023 Posted August 29, 2023 Looking through the settings for imports from the gallery/Tray folder (MC Population > Populating Settings > Import Tray Settings), there seem to be settings for physique, clothing, name and gender options, but none for age or traits (unless these are handled tacitly by some of the others). My guess would be that, if you want Sims/households to be exactly as they are in your library, the only sure-fire way is to place them into your world manually. All you need for that is one empty lot where you can put them, then evict them and they'll be like any random townies/NPCs in your game.
