xVASynth advice needed.

Hi all,

I have been trying to use xVASynth, xVATrainer, and "Main Character Voice Over Generator" to create a custom DBVO pack for my load order. After a long while I have gotten the AI trained and now I want to apply it to my specific load order. I have the .csv file with all the dialogue, and I can generate the necessary .fuz files. However, when I make it into a DBVO pack and apply it in game I get no voice.

I suspect it has to do with the file name generated by xVASynth, but I have honestly no Idea. An example file name would be "AC_erie_hifi_... FINE". I have tried removing the "AC_erie_hifi" prefix, but that appears to have no effect.

Other DBVO packs have their files named something like: "(Intimidate)_You_know_what_you_did._Give_it,_now!". I presume I need specific file names, but I am not sure what they need to be or how to generate them for 1000s of .fuz files.

Any advice is appreciated.

the file names are what DBVO looks up, afaik by doing a verbatim text look up on the entire voiced line (made-up player dialog response: "What? You want me to do what?" >> looks up a voice file that's named "What? You want me to do what?"). if you've read the posts at DBVO and not found comments on the subject of DBVO voice file naming, I'd suggest you refer to the Bella DBVO webpage and check its posts tab, as there's some discussion of problems in naming, due to several issues with several of its voice packs.

Thanks for the tip. I couldn't find the info I needed on the main page but I will check out Bella

to sum it up, and maybe save you a *little time,  the filename length comes into play, as do spaces at the end of the file name, and *possibly* also the use of  "..."

In any case here's a direct link to the posts section. You'll have to wade through a bit, to find the references

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/89810?tab=posts

while there, you might/maybe find some info of relevance in the bugs tab too
