This is very, very strange, .....compress the pics to jpg, by using suiting tools.

My recommendation: Offer the mod on LL and drop this nonsence link.

Preset file on LL

I prefer the PNG format, too lazy to convert additionally

It doesn't have to be complicated. I just use the basic Windows Paint program. Open the .png, File ... Save as ... .jpg. My avatar started as a .png, and I also cropped it and resized it to 50% or less. All in paint. I think it looks fine. It takes less than a minute, but maybe you have a ton of pics. IrfanView has a program (free, when I dl'd it) that lets you do batch conversions, in case you're interested. If not, ignore this post ?

lol i compress all the time from 4k/8k and uw. to small gif sizes.. oh well.
