Sexlab not working

For the last few days I have been trying to figure out what has been going wrong.

 

what happens is that (I have submit and defeat) when goign through the conversation with someone and they agree to sex and it just stops there they walk up to me and then nothing happens, they just stand there and nothing happens (which is rather annoying)...

 

I really can't figure out what is causing this to happen either... so a little help please.

 

thought you might want a list of the mods i have installed on skyrim as well...

Try looking at the tutorial link in my sig under Skyrim by one of the contributors Ark of Truth.

 

Make sure you follow all the instructions there. I have no clue what I was doing with skyrim mods and I got it to work by just following his instructions. There is a PDF version as well. perhaps print that one and follow along and check off the steps as you do it.

 

Check the top of the page it assumes that you know a few basic things for the tutorial.

I have followed all of that except possibly the Fnis it is the first time i have seen it but does it HAVE to be 3.5 because i was using v4

 

as for the "reading is a lost art" comment, I resent that comment if perhaps you mean the thread that is stickied with information then yes i have seen it, read it and followed ALL instructions... it still didn't work.

I am not sure about the FINIS except that if you are using FINIS version you need to make sure that the animations or extras also are compatible. There are versions for v4 that you need to use for it to work correctly, as far as I have read so far. I used the v3.5 and all the stable and it worked just fine. I then move to v4 and the add  ons and that worked just fine I just had one issue and that was because I was silly and forgot to re-run the FINIS tool again after making some changes to the mods with animations

just added sexlab zzz just to add a couple of spells to start the animations... they don't work either... this is getting annoying

 

also tried different types of FNIS that doesn't work either :(

If you can try starting fresh. Install the support system from the link in the sig for Skyrim. Get that install and copy the data folder for protection. Add one and only one mod. Truth states Romance as an example. Test that. If it works continue working with mods one at a time. you will likely find the problem or conflict issue this way. It sucks that it will take more time to fix but you will be more knowlegable in the end.

went with submit first and I'm going to continue adding mods...

 

basically i started fresh, wiped the enitre system off anything relating to sexlabs

 

currently have sexlabs:

submit

procreation (and everything to go with it)

aroused

defeat

 

these all work for me... don't know about anyone else

well until the 1.2 update for all the mods is out i m back an 1.14 and they work again so

its realy a prob with the plugin version

would be nice if we had one treat with a download link for all the working plugins or naming them

so we can see wich framework for wich plugin that would realy help

Good to hear. Keep a list or a folder of the mods that you installed together. I do this so that If there is a problem I can return to the downloads that I know have worked this installation. Perhaps back up your data folder between mod installations. It will take time but can be easier to restore. You are on the right path.

I don't see why you couldn't do this if you are able. Create a thread and keep it updated as the new versions come out. The mod creators can post or PM you on the updates to their mods. It might seem scary at first but really all you would be doing is keeping a thread active and posting comments of work or not work related to a specific thread and the current version of Sexlab. I don't see any major expereince in modding needed. Just some experience with various mods and some time to keep it properly updated (read the thread and Creators post and editing the OP that is all)

Ok, so maybe I'm just a noob at this but I honestly can't get the mod to work right. I've gone though every step listed in including removing skyrim and all other mods from my computer, doing a fresh install of Skyrim and only running the required mods plus Sexlab Submit and it simply won't work. I can get into the setting of the mod and change them around but no matter what I do (or don't do as the case may be, leaving the default setting right where they are) the hotkey WILL NOT WORK. I'm unable to use the shout, grapple or ambush to start anything. Likewise there seems to be an issue with the speechcraft aspect as well because even though the option in in the NPC's list when I talk to them, my chances are ALWAYS 0% (and after reading and re-reading I was led to believe that generally speaking, unless the target is married, I should have a min of a 10% chance). Is anyone else having issue at all? or do I just suck?

There is a need of a load order for anyone to even begin to start to help you.

I think i can do that. Like I said, I'm a bit of a noob at this. I used Nexus Mod Manager to get my load order.  I've still been playing around with it a bit and just playing the game in general but this is what it looks like.

 

Skyrim.esm

I do have other mods that come after that in the load order, Headmomb's Better Sorting, Better Magic, Amazing Follower Tweaks, Run for Your Lives & When Vampires Attack (in that order). What I didn't see in the load order (and I'm not sure if I even should) is FNIS even though I know it's installed or  CBBE (Calientes Female Body Mods Big Bottom Edition) but I think that's cause the latter is a texture pack and I honestly don't know if FNIS is saposed to show or not. When I run the "Generate FNIS Behavior for Users" it says I'm running V4.1.1 which I think is the newest, I check the box for "SKELETON Arm Fix", click Update FNIS Behavior and it says

If you need anything more, or if I'm running anything that's known not to work (I thought I had read through all that but maybe I missed it) please let me know. This looks like a really good mod and I'd love to get it working.

I can't help much with this because I am not really using anything sexlab. However,

 

1)look over the tutorial. I believe it was recently updated.

2) check and see if other sexlab mods are working. If so it is the mod in question that is giving you the problem.

3) re-read the mods instructions and make sure you have all the listed mods installed and active. If not fix. Then test.

4)If #3 isn't the issue or you have rechecked the installation of the sexout base and the mod in question someone else will have to help further. There might be some error or incompatability that I am unaware of.
