Is there a way to give my follower Devious devices to equip?

I have tried everything from follower trade menu to pickpocket.

 

-is there a mod that i am missing.

yes you can i use AFT and you can give them DD to wear them

The critical thing to remember is that the game engine is going to try to equip the "best" (that is, the most strongly defensive) equipment that it can. That being said, I've never had any problem equipping my followers with DD as long as I've removed all other alternatives first (that is, empty their inventory completely and then give them DD).

oh amazing follower tweaks i use nether follower framework, isnt that better?

can"t really say never used nether follower framework so i can"t really say something the only thing i know about these two is wirh AFT you can have up to 31 followers and what dosen"t include Serana and with NFF you can have 10

try NFF and import your follower through dialogue...this should give u an option to create an outfit for them.
