I can't find any @lakovic mod on the forum anymore (for any kiseki games), is something happened ?

He removed his mods from the forum from what I recalled.

Sorry if this has been asked before but is there any possibility of adding NPCs like Fran or Shanshan to the model viewer, or nude body swaps of characters into NPCs i.e. a Bath House Bliss style Fran bodyswap for Noel?

install:

put the *.pkg file in "game\data\asset\D3D11\".

put the chr113.inf file in "game\data\chr\chr\chr113\".
*Make sure to backup the original file before replacing it.

Here is the list you can use to search for the custom I replaced.

Does anyone know where these mods by mercury_D are? I love the Emma body in the screenshot but the link has been removed and as far as I can see the github doesn't have the mods themselves. I couldn't find them in the Le Sage Boutique files and I'd really love that Emma mod!

@amorrow28 Sorry for disturbing you and for such an old game, but do you have the name table file for this game? I only have the Switch version and I can't find the table. I already extracted the contents of the asset pka from my switch copy but I don't want to sift through each pkg to find which files are for which characters (though I may end up doing so if I can't find the table).

Edit: disregard this. The pkg unpacker doesn't work with the Switch pkgs it seems

the table isn’t in assets.pka, so it would be dumped separately I think. I dunno, sorry, I don’t have the switch version.

its possible to use my tools to unpack switch pkgs, I think the problem is that switch files are marked incorrectly as lzss when they are compressed with lz4. Try changing ed8pkg2gltf.py line 2073 from “& 4” to “& 5” instead. I have no way to verify but I think I read that on discord.

Here is a cheat engine table to allow loading of save files even if you do not have the DLC required to load the save:

Reverie Disable DLC Dependency Check.zip 1003 B · 132 downloads

NOTE: The base game will crash if the characters are wearing costumes that do not exist in your installation.  Use SenPatcher to fix this bug.  I also submitted this DLC check removal for inclusion into SenPatcher, hopefully the author will like the patch and include it.

This script is used with Cheat Engine (CE).  Instructions on how to install CE and load the table here.

Anyone has the Disable DLC Dependency check for CS3 and CS4. and a clear Data save file for CS4 please?

I found a way to use both Restoration and Reset near flawlessly.

first
you need the P3Atool, you can seemingly only get from downloading a Daybreak game.
Then you need click the address bar on a blank spot and type CMD in the folder with both files, then type p3a_tool.exe extract reverie_restoration.p3a
wait for it to finish, then overwrite reveries files with that.
Then overwrite those files with the reset files.
Some of the extra files like Rixia's ninja costumes in the extra p3as will overwrite some reset costumes, I personally always preferred the reset ones tho the loss of a few did sting... so what you do to fix this is, make a dev folder and unzip reset into that.

You lose the 23 master quartz from earlier in the saga added by the restoration mod, but keep all of resets costumes.
Some of the current quartz are just renamed versions of old ones, so its basically dupes anyway.

Might be able to get those extra p3as to work nicer extracting them too and then using dlc conflict resolver, but after several days of this I was exhausted and amazed my main focus ended up working at all. Might look into Le Sage later and see what horrific conflicts show up.

Ah, it worked perfectly after that. Thanks.

I got the 3dmigoto mods working but the game crashes whenever I get into a battle. Does anyone know why that’s happening?

我已经成功安装了 3dmigoto 的 mod,但是每次进入战斗游戏都会崩溃。有人知道这是为什么吗?

Does the crash only occur after entering a battle? If possible, please send a description along with screenshots so we can help you resolve the issue more easily.

The full Trails into Reverie Restoration Project has been released!  More than 100 new costumes, in DLC format, plus new crafts, new lost arts, lots of stuff.

Download here.  Place the archive contents into your Reverie folder.

All apologies, but clicking the "Download here" link takes me into a discord I am not a member of, and cannot join.

I can't do anything there, if i can't join the discord you're linking me too, nor find that discord, I can't access the download either.

Google has also completely failed me when I searched high and low for "Kiseki Modding DIscord

...And naturally, just adding "The" to the search gave me a Japanese text Xitter post, with the necessary link.

Might be a good idea to have the invite link included in the original post.

Apologies for wasting your time.

Link added.  Also here.

Hey all,

Not sure if anyone is around on here anymore, but thought I would ask. I'm new to modding games like this, and I'm trying to get some of them to work, such as by @coomi or @lakovic, which seem to involve just adding files to the BIN folder based on what I have read.

However, there must be more to it, as this doesn't seem to add anything to the game. I even installed SenPatcher, but this is only for P3A files etc?

Am I missing something obvious here? Are there extra steps someone could point me to or explain please.

Thanks you!

I see...further reading, and it looks like it does require this 3DMigoto to get it to work, but there isn't any version available for Trails games anymore?

I don't suppose anyone has a copy of this, or a way to convert them into PKG files?

Posted

Nevermind guys, the only thing that's missing is the loader, which isn't needed. Got it working just with some issues, since I'm using Crossover (Mac) with either DXVK or Wine.

With DXVK, it runs the mod, but with severe graphic artefacts. Using Wine, the game runs until you apply the mod/skin, and then it crashes.

From my research, it looks likely not possible to use 3DMigoto with Wine/DXVK as it requires native windows drivers. I'll look into others who have got it working under Linux/Wine unless anyone else had any luck.

Posted

I’ve heard reports that 3dmigoto works with steam deck, supposedly, so it can work with Linux. The bigger question is why would you bother with 3dmigoto? Only the old mods use it… and of course any 3dmigoto mod can be converted into a pkg mod.

Posted

Oh? I might look into that. I have found some info about using DXVK on Linux, which at least works in Crossover without crashing.

Yes, better idea to convert 3DMigoto to PKG, just not seen a way to do that yet...

I just prefer the style of certain mods like those by @coomi and @lakovic.
