And is that ONLY possible in Reverie, or can we also do it in Cold Steel 3 & 4?

it's in game model viewer mod called "enhanced model viewer" unlocked after you finished the game once.
and no..it's only available in reverie

Okay, Reverie only.  I assume that once I get to it, I would just need someone's NG+ save file?

The readme is a little vague, so more specifically, once you've done what Mr_Phelps said ^ do the following:
1) go to the costume folders (hot shot & extra outfit packs) and unzip the archives
2) open a second file explorer window and navigate to the "dev" folder you just created E.G. [..\The Legend of Heroes Trails of Cold Steel III\dev]
3) in your original explorer window open one of the costume folders  E.G. [..\Trails of Cold Steel III - Le Sage Boutique\3. HOT SHOT X]

4) in the explorer search bar, type in "data", without the quotes. Make sure you hit "show all" if all folders aren't displayed
5) select all data folders and copy them, then paste them into your other explorer window that is in the "dev" folder. The copied data folders will merge into the single data folder you created earlier
6) hit yes to replace all files when it asks
7) repeat this with the remaining costume folders*

*You could do all of this in a single go if you search for and copy the data folders from [..\Trails of Cold Steel III - Le Sage Boutique], but the Septium Veins Foundation folder also has some data folders, so you'll need to leave them zipped if you don't want them.

 

Then all you have to do is fire up the game and claim the packages from the DLC tab.

Nevermind, it's in the Gluteus Maximus package for some reason (doesn't seem like it belongs there, for hers).

Hi Folks, an update to the Reverie Le Sage files. Because this file manages my work i filled the open slots in them with the Kai Bunny Suits and a some other stuff. These are not the original suits for Altina and Fie these are my interpretation of them.

...Incidentally, I have like, really old versions of the CS3 & 4 restoration mods installed (from like September 2023, back when it was just a bunch of cosmetics and also still had the Hi-Speed Fie mod outfit). Given the different way of installing the mods now, I was wondering how to go about uninstalling the older versions I had.

Also, CS3-Reverie all just got minor updates today on Steam, so SenPatcher will probably need to be updated soon too. (Dunno who works on that one tbh, or if this will affect the existing versions of Le Sage and Restoration)

Does anyone got this problem when tryna load game save after the recent new update? I'm using cs4 Restoration mods btw

@GozetaGXHad this a couple of times after an official update, try to verify your game files on steam. Sometimes steam breaks official DLC after an update.

 

@JarkesCan't say anything about the restoration mods, never used them but Senpatcher was updated a couple of days ago. About your hard install of the old Fie costume, it could be difficult to delete the old files because of the DLC and item IDs. It could break your safe if an item or DLC id is missing. At best a new outfit has the same id and had overwritten the old costume so it can be unequipped, at worst if the costume was equiped  and there isn't the same id used for anything you can't equip at all and the character (in your case Fie) bricks or your game crashes as soon as you load your save.

Reinstall Restoration and it should be fine. I had that issue as well and I was on the final boss luckily that fixed it or else I'd have to redo my entire nightmare run. Just make sure to back up your files just in case.

Fuck. I'm very sorry I seem to have messed up and got the threads mixed up. I thought this was the Cold steel 4 one not Reverie so my advice may not be correct. Once again I'm sorry about that.

Well, I'm planning on doing a new playthrough, and usually that resets the claimed DLCs, so that shouldn't be TOO much of an issue.

 

...Truth be told, I still don't totally understand how the .p3a files work. Will putting them in the "Mods" folder generated by SenPatcher basically "override" my original hard installs of the mods? I think I remember someone in the Discord server mentioning that verifying the integrity of the game files is one method you can use to uninstall mods, or just doing completely clean installs of the games (ie, uninstalling and then reinstalling them).

For SenPatcher the hierarchy goes: Files in the dev folder, .p3a files in mods, regular files. The .p3a files are simply packed mods and yes they override files that are hard installed.

The easiest way to get rid of old mods, that are hard installed, is to delete all folders in the game files that are in data\dlc\text except the official ones (The officials should be 0001 to 0004 but I'm not 100% certain). If you want to be extra sure that all old mods are deleted, simply delete your complete dlc folder (data\dlc) and verifying your game files via steam so the now missing dlc will be replaced with a new one.

if you just need underwear, steal them from the elegant dresses mod. There’s a billion options - Estelle uses the same textures as everyone else except Juna, Altina, Nadia and Lapis (AN&L are compatible with each other, Juna is on her own).
